Rod worked perfectly. We had a varity of clothing on this trip. Formal wear as well as dinner wear and sports clothing and were driving from Maryland to Texas. We were very happy not to have wrinkeled clothing packed and jamed in a suit case. The rod extended acrossed the car and we both used each side leaving the middle to view the rear window. The clothing never moved as the rod has a rubber piece on each end preventing the cloths from moving on turns etc.

Excellent product that proved it's value as advertized. I purchased two of them to aid us in moving a large quantity of clothing during a housing move. Easy to install in car and very solid. I would whole heartedly recommend this product. It came to my house quickly as promised.

My wife and I drive to Florida every year and have tried everything including bungie cords to carry our hanging clothes. The "Cheesey plastic hanger hooks in todays vehicles are a joke as they break off under the slighest load. This clothes carry bar hooks over the passenger assist handles and can carry a substancial load. So if you need to carry a few or a bunch of hanging clothes try this carry bar for sure.

The rubber grips and seperators work wonderfully to keep hangers from sliding around.

Very sturdy construction and has sliding plastic sleeves over the bar that you can adjust, that will prevent the clothes from sliding on the bar when you turn in your vehicle. I travelled from Miami to Seattle and installed it in my 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee with no complaints. I hung it over my passenger grab handles. Never fell off, never had a problem. I was also concerned about some other product reviews that stated their bars didn't hold up under the weight so I opted for what I thought was the most heavy duty looking bar. ( I had three suits, eleven pair of jeans, two winter coats, one trench coat, two rain coats, thirty-nine shirts, with no complaints despite the price being the highest of all my choices. The quality of this product makes me think it will be around another 20 years if I don't loan it to someone or lose it. I'm very happy with this purchase.

I've used a bunch of these hanger racks and I've found nothing better than this. It doesn't fall off, it keeps clothes just where they should be...and it is so sturdy.
