I tried it in several different (rental) cars. It works well. It never fell down or dropped the iPad in over 1,000 miles driven. Will not give 5 stars due to partially used cheap plastic and necessity to have the arm resting on the dashboard.Anyway, still think it is a great product for the money.

Based on the reviews found here I didnt know what to expect, but i will tell you all that this ipad mount is very strong and i have not had any problems at all, the suction cup has held strongly and has never fallen and the extended arm is just perfect, they do suggest you place it so part of the arm rests on the dashboard witch is no problem at all it simply helps on bumpy roads but the ipad does not shake extreamly just minor and only at time.so go ahead and purchase this great product without hesitation.
