Its great for keeping the carpet from becoming worn, wet or muddy. The one piece design for the rear passenger area is a big improvement over the two piece design. The mats were sent in a large flat box, so upon placing them they lay flat immediatly... For wet and muddy areas, or for those soccer moms, I think these mats are excellent.
