I had a dime-sized cigarette burn in a khaki-ivory colored leather sofaand this product did a decent job. You can't expect miracles--I don't follow other reviewers being disappointed in these kits (?) Mixing the color was actually easier than expected, and final result certainly greatly improved. I can't imagine another product that would have done better, am happy I tried this for a minimal cost.

After getting the package I noticed that it only had one patch that is 3in x 3in, Which I believe is a disappointment. If someone has multiple tears or larger tears this will not work. So after doing it, all I have to say is that it looks decent enough on my couch.

Had a crack in the corner of my recliner. This product covered it. It looks like new now. I had another tear in my ottoman. I am totally satisifed with the result of that one as well. I used the Black color, but whater color you have, all the colors are included in the kit. Well recommended.
Honest reviews on Leather Sofa Repair Kit
Was able to mix color to perfectly match vinyl "leather" ottoman. Easy application of adhesive and then color. Only problem was with the material you put on top of the color to give it a grain texture. I let it dry before trying to peel off, per instructions. Some of the color stuck to the grain patch and pulled away from the ottoman resulting in a small hole and rough surface. I would suggest removing the grain pad before the color is completely dry, or not trying to put any texture on the wet color. Would have been 5-star, except for this.

This is not as it looks and it a bit messy to use. I tried it on my sofa but the result has not been satisfactory. NOT RECOMMENDED!
