I commute to college. It is about a 40 minute commute and I normally get a meal on my way there and a meal on my way back. I also like to listen to podcasts and audiobooks in my car. Instead of twisting awkwardly to eat over the center console, or balancing different entrees on my legs, or going inside the restaurant and eating alone at a table with headphones on, I just whip out the tray and have a DELIGHTFUL meal. Does this make me forever alone? Maybe.

The tray has no lip, consequently a typical laptop computer will slide off the tray. If you place the tray so that it is perfectly level (so laptop does not slide off), the keyboard is too high on the steering wheel to be of practical prolonged use. It is only usable as a tray to eat a small meal from. The clamps that fix the tray to the slide rod cannot be sufficiently tightened to keep the tray level. The tray itself and its attachment points are too flimsy to hold any object in excess of 1 pound without deflecting.

Unfortunately, I did not try it out within the 30 day return period, so it will be going into my recycle bin.

The tray is NOT sturdy but what did I expect for to cheep. It has just sat in the back of my car. I do not use it.
