My wife had complained that the seats in our CR-V were too hot, so I did a search for this type of product. Installation on the driver's side seat was a snap no pun intended. The under seat snaps were a little more difficult to connect on the passenger seat, because there are more obstacles under the seat; but installation was still incredibly easy. The covers fit snugly, keep the seats cooler and breathe well. These covers are a great buy.

Reading the other reviews, I thought this was a sure buy... okay, now here's my opinion first, it is made in Asia and when you open the box, it smells horrible. Once they air out, they are a pain to install on electric seats. I drive an Accord with leather and was looking for a less-cumbersome seat cover because my seats are in good shape but I don't like hot/cold leather. Plus I have a dog.

Take the color shown and amplify it because those suckers are so bright they look borderline tacky. I bought the tan ones, which look more like orangey-camel than tan (yeah, like Snooki-orange). I wanted something duller, these look tacky to me. The mesh is ultra-bright too, more like ivory-white than what is shown.

So any stains, drips or whatever will show in these horribly. No wonder they were such a good deal. But I have to laugh at the other reviewer who said her male friends are fiendish over her seat covers... really? Well, they're men so I guess so.

Oh and on leather, they are SQUEAKY. So looking back, I spent a small amount on something I'll probably get a few years of use out of. I just hate walking up to my car seeing them ablaze on my seats. And nobody in my neighborhood is jealous of my purchase not that I had that in mind but in case you do...

Be careful when you first receive the seat covers. The first one I installed on the driver's side looked good and fit fairly well. I didn't install the second seat cover, waiting to see how well the first held up. Unfortunately I waited too long (and missed the 30 day Amazon return window) before I pulled out the other cover to put it on. I right away saw that about 6 inches of the stitching along the edge was missing from the seat cover backing that covers the foam padding layer. I also found that the stitching on the edge tape (keeps the fabric edge from fraying) was unravelling. It would appear that this slip cover definitely slipped past the quality control checks. It all comes down to BUYER BEWARE, I guess if you get a good price for a product, you can't expect a warranty too and, in some cases, quality. So be sure to check the seat covers as soon as you get them, but NO LATER THAN 30 DAYS, because after that it's yous forever.

I ordered these seat covers (two to a box for $27 less 3 cents), despite some less than enthusiastic reviews, because the picture looked good. I am amazed at the quality of the product for the unusually low price. They look as good as the picture, have no manufacturing defects and the materials appear to be reasonably durable. They blend well with the beige interior of my new Kia Optima and are almost as attractive as the leather seats they are intended to protect. I couldn't be more satisfied. (And they are offered in three color choices.)

As for installing them, finding places to hook the four elastic straps that go under the seat required some kneeling with a flashlight and feeling around. If this is a bit of a challenge for you, you probably could just rely on the elastic skirt that fits around the seat bottom on three sides and the back straps to do a faily good job of holding the seat cover in place.

This is a high quality, durable, comfortable, attractive seat cover but we warned that you need to be a contortionist to properly attach all the straps. I recommend getting a helper for installation. Once all the straps are affixed, it stays in place fairly well and has done a great job in protecting my beige leather seats from my dirty work clothes.
