I got this for a gift for my 92 year old father because when he rides with someone else he struggles to reach their seat belt. This is so easy to take off and put on he can take it with him when he is not the driver(yes he still drives very well). Now he is again using his seat belt all the time because he can! I want to recommend this item to the senior citizen driving class organization as maybe a commplementary gift. I have a shoulder injury that is irritated each time I have to reach back to pull seat belt, the second one included in package has been wonderful for me too. Just be sure to aim the handle toward the front and be sure it is reachable before exiting your vehicle,then it's ready for the next drive.

These are helpful for people that have difficulty reaching their seat belt due to limited mobility but we do have problems with it getting in the way of the actual seat belt latch. For people without mobility issues it would be great and handy but for others it is a little cumbersome. I cannot really recommend a better product for you since this is the only item of this type that we have seen.

I was very disapointed in this product. It does not stay "locked" in place. Each time I pulled the seatbelt around with this device the device came off. I followed the instructions exactly and it never once pulled the seatbelt around before falling off. I threw this item away as it was absolutely worthless.

This would be a GREAT gift for a Senior or a disabled person!!! Due to a disability, I found it almost impossible to reach my seat belt to put it on!!! I only needed about another 1/4 inch to reach it comfortably; but just didn't have it. I tried making my own extensions & NONE of them worked properly. When they did work, it proved to me exactly what I needed. So, off to Amazon I go to do my search for the perfect product, That's when I discovered this product & it came in a 2-pack which gave me one for my spare car!!! Now when I get in my car, I barely have to turn to grab the handle & pull the seat belt into position then click & I'm ready to go!!! I could HUG whoever thought this one up!!! Before getting this item, I had to endure tons of pain in order to get my seat belt on & YES it was important to wear my seat belt!!! The rubberized handle is easy for arthritic fingers to grasp & it should make it soooo much easier for your senior to use that they won't mind wearing their seat belt!!! One person on here had complained that their's wouldn't stay on. IF installed properly, I found that to NOT be a problem. Now, those with weak hands might need to get a child or neighbor to help attach it to the seat belt the first time & after that NO problem!!!
