This seat cushion is just what I needed. I bought it for my office chair, which is vinyl. The lack of air flow between me and my chair caused me to sweat too much, especially in the summer months. I work from my home office and I was tired of my pants being damp after sitting on my chair for any lenght of time. Now with this cushion, I can sit for hours and not have any problems with a damp seat when I get up from my chair. The only issue is when I wear shorts and they don't cover the back of my legs completely. I end up with the mesh imprint and it gets a little uncomfortable sitting for periods without the protection of cloth between me and the cushion. That's a small downside compared to the upside of the cushion.

The product and the concept are ok, but unfortunately are for kids or small persons.

I bought this product because the leatherette seats in my car had me soaked through my clothes within seconds of getting in after the seats sat in the sun for too long. The bottom seems to fit my seat pretty well and extends to within an inch or so of the end of the seat, but the top only comes to the bottom of my shoulder blades and I'm a short girl. The product is a simple design of metal springs (or coils of some sort) between the bottom layer and top woven layer which is about as comfortable as it sounds (not horrible, but definitely requires a little getting used to and wearing in). Also, this will have you sitting higher in your seat, which luckily, I am able to adjust my bottom seat height to accommodate. On the upside, it actually works and keeps my back and legs dry even on a 4 hour drive I made in 88+ degree weather last week. For me, it is helpful for everyday use since I'll start sweating withing minutes of skin to leather contact and I imagine could even provide relief against cold seats. Overall, I am very impressed with the results and bought an extra for my passengers.

Took on a 6 hr. road trip right after receipt. Worked fine except the back strap which barely made it around my seat broke before I headed back, but seat cushion still worked & stayed mostly in place. Read prior reviews complaining about durability, but having used similar products in past, knew they only last a season or two (if you are light & don't "ride" them hard). Even spent a night on the road, catching some sleep on it-kept me cooler in warm surroundings, but as soon as temp cooled nearing morning, I got off of it as soon as possible since the mesh seating is not very comfortable for extended periods. But at least does help keep me cooler than without it for a minimal price.

I bought one of these in July and after about three weeks of use the fabric started to tear and wire came through. I would not recommend this product.
