My 4 yr old was struggling to reach the buckle from his car seat in my 2013 Toyota Matrix, so I finally got this. I wasn't sure which style to get maybe the stiff one would've been better because he still needs a 3rd hand to grab it at times, however he can reach it now and buckle himself in by himself and the whining has stopped. Also, I tried it out in my father's Nissan Xterra when we visited, and it fit just fine there too.
