Needed a swivel because of sacroiliac joint problem. Bought one for car at Walgreen's for my car, but cushion was 2" and was unable to use it in Pathfinder because it was too high so looked for one that wasn't as thick. This one is not as thick, but does not swivel well, since I am able to move myself. It might work well if someone is helping a person into the car and lifted their legs and moved the legs for them, but it does not work for me.

I bought two of these as gifts. One for a friend who had surgery and the other for my step-mom, thinking it would assist them with getting out the car. The seat would swivel in your hands, but when you sit and try to turn, it does nothing. No swivel action. Turned out to be just a seat cushion.

I'm using it as a lazy susan and the memory foam is also a very nice feature, and it also has a texture to the fabric for grip.
