they are hard, but that would be okay if you could strap them to headrest in a comfy position... my car is a R edition so seats
are a bit different than most... so it might work better on stock seats... but my wife does not like them because they are hard... i am not that picky so i use mine once in a while.... just needs some design improvement... but it is made very well!!!
