The instructions for this item are simple to understand and dont worry about finding power wires or anything. The unit uses the same power source as the radio. It has it's own fuse and everything is wired and ready to connect to your new stereo and to the car's stereo connector. It does what it is suppose to do. The stereo stays on 10 minutes after you turn the car off... just like the original stereo did. I would recommend this to anyone that needs to install one of these to replace their stock stereo with a custom stereo.

Installing this prevented me from having to cut the cars standard harness to get it to work with my after market radio. I installed this with a 2dim radio and it was a little snug but very doable without having to cut apart any plastics behind the radio. This adapter saved the feature where the radio stays on till the drivers door is opened and it kept the driver information Center under the tachometer. I was skeptical about this purchase at first but I know it works well and I would definitely recommend it.
