We have a used car seat and the attachment point to our lock-in system broke. Our son is almost ready to transition to a larger seat, so we didn't want to buy a new one, so these clips were the cheap solution to make the seat safe for him until we get a new one. Price was better than anything I could find on eBay (nine bucks for three) and product seems solid and has worked for about a month now. Having a couple extra is good in case we loose one or want to give one to grandparents.
