Cheap OEM Replacement DVD 7" Touchscreen GPS Navigation Unit For Honda

I normally do not write reviews, but when shopping for this product there were no reviews yet, so hopefully this helps someone.

First and foremost, I want to explain why I only gave the product 3 stars. It does not perfectly match my dashboard in the 2007 Civic & it does not have a punchout for the passenger airbag light. I am a little dissapointed in the airbag light, because I specifically emailed support before purchasing the product and was told that the unit does indeed have a punchout for the airbag light despite what the picture shows. I contacted support regarding the color match issue and the airbag light issue and within a few hours received a response stating that they were going to contact their warehouse in Canada for a replacement unit. Two days later I received an email from support saying that they do not have any units with a punchout for the airbag light and they were sorry for giving misleading information. They did not address the color issue, so I can only assume that they also do not make this unit in another color. They did offer for me to return the unit to Amazon for a full refund so I give them a lot of credit for that.

I decided to keep the unit despite the above mentioned items. My reasoning was that the airbag light didn't matter to me it just made the installation look more OEM, and the coloring was off, but was only noticeable in certain lighting. If you are wondering about the difference, the unit appears to be gray, and my dashboard more of a gray/bronze color. Note that the airbag light did have to be connected, otherwise, the vehicle airbag malfunction light stayed on. So, the light was plugged in and tucked behind the dash.

Overall I am pleased with the functionality of the unit but have only been using it for about a week. The unit takes about 20-30 seconds to boot up which is annoying at first, but overall not an issue for me. The functions I wish it had was a customizable navigation voice (The voice is not natural at all and sounds like a computer), and voice commands for dialling, etc. I have heard from friends on the other end of the line that the bluetooth works well.

I think for the price this is a good unit if you can live with the above mentioned things.
