We all know Mazda Tributes aren't the world's most lavishly engineered cars. Ford got a whole lot of cost out of this car and it really shows. My driver's interior door handle broke at 100k which should never have happened. I went to the dealer and asked how much for the part and they said "One sixty one". I thought "Wow, that's cheap!" Then I realized the decimal point was two digits to the right! A hundred sixty one dollars for THAT?Found this one on Amazon for about 1/4 the OEM price. Bought it. Showed right up. We compared it to the OEM broken one we took out. The quality appears identical and this part snapped right in and works perfectly.
Why buy OEM?
