My wife and kids like the device. The only issue is the radio signal is a little weak, Headphones work great. Sure beats using DVDs.

I did not give it 5 🌟b/c of the flimsiness. Otherwise, great product and works great with my first gen ipad. I bought 2, one for my car and one for my wife's... so we can transfer one ipad between two cars. My kids love it. Great for long trips with two kids. I had it professionally installed they took less than 1 hr and charged me $100.

Installed the ipad docking station in my 2011 Ford E350. It took me about a hour or so to do the install (previous experience installing auto electronics) for me the hardest part of the install was getting the short mounting screws to catch due to the contour of the headliner once I removed the factory dome light. I've paired up my ipad with a seagate wireless hard drive Seagate GoFlex Satellite Mobile Wireless Storage 500 GB USB 3.0 External Hard Drive STBF500101 Blackand my kids have plenty of movies to watch while we are on family trips. Radio freq transmitter works very well. The headphones give me the best of both worlds kids occupied watching movies and I can listent to what I want to instead of listening to a movie I can't watch while driving. The swivel is the cherry on top. my wife can change the movie m=by simply twisting the ipad. No need to figure out how to get to where the dvd controls are and no discs to deal with.
