I had seen Dickies seat covers in the store, and they were always made out of Dickies type of pant material. I ordered a plain black one for my boyfriend's truck. That one is of solid fabric and construction. However, I ordered these for my car. I like the plaid pattern. That's about it. The black fabric around the plaid is almost like a cheap neoprene, and the parts that go around the side of the seat are this super cheap, see-through material. I never expected such a low quality product from a company that my family and I have trusted for tough stuff for so long. However, 3 stars for having a neat fit/design. There is a little sinkable piece that goes in between the back and the seat part of the seat. It really helps keep the seatcover in place and unrumpled.

I love the look of the cover. The service from the seller was great. Only comment that I make that is less than perfect is the seat cover seat-part won't stay where it belongs. I always have to re-arrange it. For some this would be very frustrating, for me I can learn to appreciate the less than perfect.

If the same material had been used for the skirt as was used for the solid black surface of the cover, this item would get 5 stars from me.

These fit perfectly in my 1980 Scout front buckets, which are very similar to Bronco buckets of that era. The flannel insert is quality and still looks brand new. The black canvas material is showing no wear after 9 months of daily use. I have washed the drivers side cover several times and the passenger side cover once with no problems. Just returned from a week long off road trip and they still look great. See pic in product gallery.

I bought an extra cover when I got a puppy 6 months ago and haven't needed to break it out yet. At less than $20, you can't go wrong.

I understand the complaints about the skirt material being too thin. It makes the cover very easy to pull on and off and gives it a lot of versatility in the fit, but it could tear easily, especially if you have a forward folding bucket.

I lined the skirt area with some thin foam, using some spray glue to tack it on. If you go to an upholstery shop or fabric store get 1/4" 'scrim foam'. This should solve any tearing issues with the skirt for a few bucks. You can apply the foam to the seat for more permanent use, otherwise apply to the inside of the skirting.
