Review based on my experience with my HTC Evo 4G...

Pros:

* Great suction cup. Sticks onto the windshield really well. Haven't had any problems trying to make it stick or stay on the windshield. (Note: I live in the Bay Area (California) where the weather is pretty warm/hot in this time of the year. So I haven't tested the suction cup in cold weather yet).

* Easy to adjust the angle of the mount and the holder by loosening and tightening the two knobs.

* Holder can do a full 360 turn, so you can have your phone in portrait or landscape mode.

* Holder can hold one of the biggest smartphones out there right now, even with a case. (I'm referring to my HTC Evo 4G)

* Holder is very well padded, so I don't have to worry about your phone or your case getting scratched.

* It's easy to attach and remove the phone from the holder using one hand.

* The clamps on the holder grips onto the Evo very well. Feels tight and secure.

* All ports and buttons are still accessible when attached.

Cons:

* The device in the holder bounces around when driving on bumpy roads. It makes it a bit difficult to read the screen sometimes. I wish this car mount was as stable/stiff as the Garmin car mounts.

I've had a couple of universal mounting kits for smartphones before and this is the best of them. The build quality is very nice, and feels much sturdier than other ones I've tried. Plus, the suction cup mount and included adhesive disk means that you can really put this thing anywhere you want. In fact, the way I am using it, I have two locations that I can use which is also a big plus.

The only drawback is that you are limited by where the power supply is located, but that's a small issue with an otherwise great product.

I recently got the HTC Droid Incredible and love using the built in Google Navigation feature. I was worried about purchasing a mount that wouldn't block the power plug and this one works PERFECTLY. The suction cup holds tremendously, even in the hot sun! The various movements hold very nicely and don't lose their tension. I'm very happy with this purchase, well worth it.

I was looking for a universal mount for my DroidX, that was not to bulky and that I could occasional travel with. I'm glad I bought the iGrip. It holds the phone very securely, and the combination of the hinge-joint at the windshield plus the ball-joint just behind the phone makes it very easy to position. Both joints can be easily tightened using just your fingers. While it does bounce a tiny bit on really bumpy roads, it's plenty stable for 99% of the roads I drive on. If I could give 4.5 stars I would -the only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because of the slight amount of bounce on really bumpy roads.
