Bought four for my Olds. Installation was straight forward. At same time I replaced sway bar links. They were very corroded and doomed to fail. The OEM spring is a progressively wound spring. The Quick Strut spring is linear. Ride height after install was slightly higher (maybe 1/2 inch) but I expected that with new springs. It was not objectionable. These ride a little harder than the factory struts which I expected after I seen springs. But I actually wanted that. The factory springs were too soft even when car was brand new and they easily bottomed out. The Monroe struts seem stiffer and shocks being new are stiffer. What was really noticeable was car tracked much better. Car handles rough RR tracks much better. For the price I think they are a great buy. I am sure they will loosen up after a couple hundred miles and I bet the ride height will drop to normal once the springs seat themselves.
