Had I left this rating some time ago I would have given a full 5 stars, because it worked great on my 2000 BMW 328i. And, for the money, you just couldn't beat it. I bought the scanner after a shop charged be $100 to run a scan after my check engine light came on. It turned out it was a phantom code and just needed to be reset wish I had this scanner beforehand.I now have a 2006 Saab 9-5 T no go. My wife left didn't tighten the gas cap when she filled up, which tripped the check engine light. While I was able to reset the check engine light with this scanner, the only thing it would show me for a trouble code was NA 01/01 which I found meant the device isn't supported by my car. In other words, if I ever get a trouble light that isn't so obvious, this thing is useless beyond doing a code reset.
I did a little bit of looking around and found that GM vehicles (my Saab was manufactured by GM) may not be compatible with certain OBD2 scanners so, perhaps this incompatibility is related to GM vehicles only.

paid for expedited shipping (which it came on time) only to hook up to my car (2006)and be told I had a trouble code (duh) but it wouldn't list what kind. All it would list is N/A 01/01 when it listed the trouble code. Seems like china Junk to me. going to buy a better version... steer clear!
