The Ford Ranger hub caps are held on by the lug nuts. The lock nuts do not engage with the hub cap hold on. Now only four nuts hold the hub cap on. The description says they work with Ford Rangers. Unless I loose a hub cap they will be OK.

The McGard wheel locks are an exact duplicate of the OEM Ford wheel locks we have on our other Mercury at half of FORD's price. Well satisfied with them.

I needed these to fit under the lug nut cover on my Dodge pickup. They fit perfectly. These wheel locks use a different, stronger-looking design than the standard McGard wheel locks. You can also get decorative caps that screw over these (I didn't) to make them look like normal lug nuts.

One thing worth noting: it will take longer for McGard to make a spare key for this type of wheel lock. I sent out a spare key form for both this set and the more common McGard design on the same day, but the kay for this set arrived a week later.
