Review of E-PRANCE 3-Way 12V/24V Car Socket Extender Charger Adapter with USB

I purchased two of these adapters an have found them to work as intended. Unlike another reviewer, it has been my experience that the adapter's plug remains in the vehicle's cigarette lighter socket unless pulled or hit. This unit is very handy, especially with the USB receptacle. The hinge between the plug and the body of the adapter allows it to be folded out of the way. This is a useful feature since, on my vehicles, the unit is used in a restricted space.

The biggest problem with this unit is that when inserted it pops back out and loses connection. The grounding lugs on the side of the plug are poorly designed and will not grip the interior of the receiving socket. Compounding the problem is the center plug has a very strong spring that actually pushes the plug back out of the socket. For the forgoing reasons I'll never be able to use this device. It's going in the trash since it's not worth sending back. Wish someone else had reviewed it before me, waste of money.
