I purchased two of these seatbelt extenders for my 2000 Honda Civic DX in order to fit three kids wide in the backseat. This worked by using two small backless boosters (for a 3 and 6 year old) and an infant seat in the middle installed without the base. These seat belt extenders saved us from having to buy a new car. This seat belt extender worked great in the back seat of our 2006 civic. The wide car seat is no longer a problem!Just be sure when you order that you are getting the extender for the exact make/model/seat you need it for.
