I know how to install drivers. I know how to change COM port numbers, I read pages of reviews. I googled "solutions", and read them. I used different computers and USB ports. But neither VCDS lite nor included VagCOM can establish a connection. On the plus side, this is a FTDI chip. When you plug it to the Car OBD port, a light will turn on, but nothing more. Any suggestion is welcomed. Before that, I have no choice but 1 star.

Product arrived within the time period. Packaging was good. The plug fit good and snug into my Audi's receptor. It connected to both my car and laptop without issues. I have windows 7 on my laptop. I wish the software would allow me to clear the error codes I found, however, the ad never claimed that it would. I happy with this purchase.

The interface did not work. It is a wast of money. The CD was wrote in Chinese and the drive would not talk to cable...
