This product is so much easier to install than separate springs and shocks. And, it works really well. It made the car ride as new. Plus, in my case, I had a broken spring, it brought the front end to the regular ride height again. I didn't use the included instructions since I had a shop manual for the car. So, I can't attest to how good the instructions were.

Well, Monroe makes mistakes,too! I bought a new pair of Quick-struts for my '93 Accord through Amazon. My local shop who installed them for me explained that he does not warrant any products unless he bought them...And I should have listened to him. I bought them 8/15/2011. One of them started making a rattling sound almost immediately. I didn't want to believe it could be one of the NEW struts. But (the third) mechanic discovered the top bolt was loose and causing the noise...also tire wear and down time. And then the Monroe warranty line said the defective strut will have to be returned to their warehouse before warranty replacement. Hummm... I wonder how my car will drive without a strut. The front suspension on my 91 Accord was pretty shot. On top of the struts being bad, it was missing some of the stabilizer link bushings, as well as required a new upper control arm assembly and ball joint.

Out of everything I swapped out, the Quick Struts was by far the easiest step. After disconnecting the Y arm at the bottom of the strut, 3 bolts hold the assembly on. After those are removed, it's a simple task of affixing the Y arm to the new Quick Strut assembly and seating the assembly to the car. Three bolts later, torqued to factory spec (42lb), and I was golden. They restored the original ride height and comfort as described just as if I were in a new car.

I plan to replace my rear springs and struts with the Quick Struts here soon, and will post a followup under those products.
