My elderly mother had trouble fastening the seat belt in the backseat of our vehicle because of the reach over and down. This extender allowed her to fastened the seatbelt more easily in front of her, and subsequently moved the shoulder strap over to a more comfortable position on her shoulder. She keeps telling us how much she likes it and that she appreciates us getting it for her. :)

This was purchased to allow a larger person to be seated comfortably in the car during cold months when more layers of clothing are needed. With the 15 inch extension, this person will have plenty of room. Would buy again if another one is ever needed.
