The Emergency Escape Hammer is a must have for anyone! The piece of mind that it gives is worth way more than the price paid. It can be used to break the window if the doors won't open and it also has a blade to cut through seatbelts. The bright orange color is perfect to be able to locate it in an emergency, especially if you are not able to mount it as the instructions describe. One hopes that it will never have to be used, but it's nice knowing that it is there!

I feel more comfortable while traveling in my car now that I have an Emergency Escape Hammer within easy reach. I know that in an emergency, when seconds count, this will get me out of the vehicle more quickly than not having it. I keep mine in my center console so it's always easy to get to. It can be mounted elsewhere, as it has multiple mounting options,

As the survivor of a small airplane crash in 1973, I have first hand experience at how it feels to be trapped in a vehicle, smelling the leaking gasoline and wondering if it's going to burst into flames at any second (fortunately it didn't). I don't want to ever experience that kind of helpless feeling again in my life, and this little device could be quite useful in an emergency like that in a car.

I practiced using it at an auto junkyard that a friend of mine owns, and it breaks windows and cuts seat-belts easily, just as advertised.

I have recommended this to all of my 6 adult kids, and would recommend it to anyone.
