Review of Auto Exec File Master Efficiency

I bought this three months ago and have been very pleased. Overall, it appears to have quality construction and good design. It buckles in easily and securely, and is also easy to remove when necessary. It sits at a perfect height, angle, and position for keeping printed directions, a cell phone, or even food handy. The top surface is lightly padded and quite non-slip for papers and electronics. The main lower compartment has a lip on the side that prevents things from sliding out.

The side-facing files, shown in the picture with a red folder in front, are suspended from the top by a separate piece of plastic that fits into the hole and supports their tabs. The front-facing files are not supported but instead rest on the bottom of the main lower compartment. I haven't had a problem with their bending or sliding down, though.

My only complaint is that after three months in a hot car, the non-slip surface seems to have detached from the padding below it in approximately five 1" diameter bubbles. This doesn't reduce its effectiveness, though, and it's not very visually noticeable.

This was a Christmas gift for my son-in-law. He loved it and uses it in his car everyday. Don't be fooled by less expensive types. This one fits perfectly in the car and is very user friendly.
