The only drawback to this shade is that there are many gaps for sunlight when you put it up. It blocks what it covers and blocks it well. The cheap shades will cover the whole windshield but don't block as well. It was a decent buy for the money but I wouldn't suggest spending a whole lot on these shades until you find one you truly like.

Got this for my wife's 2004 Jetta when her 9 year old sun shade finally tore. This is slightly larger than the Jetta's front windshield, so there's a little extra work getting it in place. And it is a little more difficult to "scrunch" up, but then again, my wife just tosses it in the back seat when she's driving. Since she likes it but not as much as what she had, four stars.

I drive a 2005 Honda Accord and my old windshield sun shade bit the dust. I wanted a replacement that was one piece and I don't like the cardboard ones because they are too big and unweildly and hard to store. I really wanted one similar to the old one, and this one is very close. It unfolds easily and you just put the bottom in then put the top up and fold down your visor. It fits my car very well and I think most small to mid size sedans/coupes would do well also. It is easy to fold if you know the trick, which is shown in the directions you get with it and that makes it into a small disk with a band that holds it together and I can tuck it into the pocket on the back of the front passenger seat. Perfect for me. Inexpensive and it works. I got a second one for my Wife who drives a 2003 Subaru Outback wagon. Works fine there as well. I really like things that are inexpensive and do what they are supposed to.

car window shades were much smaller than expected and do not fill a full size dodge truck windshield, quality is fine
