Bought two of these for the front seats of my Saab 9-3 in 2009; still using them in 2012, despite some issues.PROS:
a) With the cushion in place, it's much more comfortable to sit in the Saab's leather seats in summer or in winter, especially on a baking hot or freezing cold day.
b) Protects leather seats from sweating bodies. Saab leather seats typically deteriorate more quickly than most, but my car's leather seats shows little sign of wear. I credit the beaded cushions for protecting the seats.
c) To my surprise, the cushion's stitching and beading has held up for three years. With other beaded cushions, I found myself picking up loose beads from the car floor after only few months.
CONS:
1) The metal wire sewn into the cushion (which holds shape of seat) distorted immediately upon sitting on cushion. This set off a 3-year tradition of kneeling by the car and spending a few minutes trying to straighten the wire in a way so it doesn't stick into my back. In fairness, this has something to do with the Saab bucket seats, which are heavily bolstered on the sides. E.g., if your car has wider, less "bucketed" seats, this may be less of a problem for you.
2) As is true with virtually every car cushion I've owned, the straps are flimsy and don't really fit properly, so the seat cushion slides around. I cut then re-tied the straps to try to improve the fit; it did not really help.
