Did the install myself was a little aprehensive at first but after I got started I realized how easy it was going to be. 3 bolts at top and 2 on bottom. My PT Crusier handles and rides so much better now. While I had the front end apart I went ahead and replaced my brake pads and rotors. Don't forget to get your wheel alignment after you finish.

I installed these front quick strut assemblies on a 2001 PT Cruiser. Easy to install, about 30 minutes per side. Jack the car up, take off the wheel, pop the hood, take off the two bolts at the steering knuckle, loosen the three nuts at the top of the mount, take off strut. Put new strut in and reverse the above procedure for install.
The ride is nice and smooth now and it absorbs bumps in the road well.
Remember to get an alignment afterward.

Very good option for a do it your self repair. No worries for needing to compress or replace springs ! Easy instalation with basic hand tools. Do have some minor suspension noise that seems to be upper mounts from both sides though. Not serious enough to research and re-replace.

Received quickly & got started had read alittle about how to do, made the job easy.No spring to depress, just remove old & replace with new they seem to be working OK & everything lined OK.Had the alignment checked after which you should do, so no tire wear.These were easy to install & would buy again!!!!!!!
