I bought this cable and used it to tune the ECU in my 2006 Subaru Legacy 2.5i. I had no problems connecting to the ECU, reading the ROM and flashing it back (although I didn't have definitions at first). The rom raider logger also connected to the ECU flawlessly. Anyone looking to use this cable to tune Subarus, it works!

it's a good tool if you have right expectation. it came with the very basic software the would let you check error codes and it'a about it. Real software wil cost you $$$
