This item is exactly what it says it is, fits perfectly, protects the carpet and has a lip to prevent things from seeping over the edges. My only issue is that everything slides around.....shopping, groceries, pets, etc. I'm looking for a skidroof rubber MAT and this cargo tray is the only thing that comes up, which I already have. I'm just tired of climbing into the back of the car to gather up my grocery bags.

What a joke... can't say for sure if this is in fact the factory cargo tray, but it doesn't appear to be. For the 2011 model the length seems incorrect and the width is short in some areas, long in others. I'm planning to return the item but for those with a 2011 Pilot I really can't imagine this is the right cargo tray for the vehicle.

The product itself is fine. It fits well in the back of my 2012 Pilot although it does seem just a little short when pushed up tight against the backseat. It is relatively thin and has a fine texture on the top that helps keep things from sliding around although in my opinion the raised checker pattern isn't necessary and would help keep things more secure if it were just flat. The item will come in a box approx the size of 24"x30"x4" folded in half two times. When you pull it out there will be deep creases and the "lip" around the edge of the mat completely flattened. It's just ridiculous. My creases did eventually come out after a few days but the lip is still trying to regain its upright position. Very annoying as the lip is important when trying to keep junk off your carpeting.

I purchased this item for my new 2011 pilot. It fits perfect and looks to be well made. My problem is that liner slides back towards the tailgate. So its tough to close the tail gate because items load it down so its tough to push back. However momentum pushes back easily when you drive. Also when my labrador jumps in the back she slides it out immediately so its a pain when she goes in and tries to go out. I tried rubber matting to get it to hold better but no impact. I'm debating about attaching velcro but afraid of nasty piling from that. Please consider use before buying.

this is my second pilot and once you have a cargo tray liner it's a "must have" for any suv. It allows everything to be kept in place and easy to clean by taken it out and wash with a hose. one tip is to get rubber rug liner so it cna stay secure and stationary. it the liner that you place under throw rugs inthe home.
