Like some already stated if you love your Jetta just "cough" the bucks....forget the weight,the mirror story... and enjoy a cool car when temp is reaching over 90....I m in Florida so....with all the but... I still give it 5 stars as a great product quality and fit !!

This is the 3rd Covercraft Heat Shield I've owned. Just as the others this sunshade is the best you can get!

Yes, you can find a cheaper sunshade but none that are as good as this. It fits like a glove which I believe is one of the reasons it is so effective. It will cover your windshield end to end and top to bottom with minimal gaps. I live in Hawaii and the sun can be brutal. We are allowed to have window tint at 35% legally but tint is not enough on a hot summer day. This product combined with window tint means no more jumping in to a hot car only to have your legs burnt once they touch the seat. It is also well built and very sturdy. It looks expensive and is a nice addition to a beautiful car.

The one downside is it takes up some space when not being used. Unlike those cheaper pop up sunshades that you can squeeze between your chair and center console this will fold up to be as tall as your windshield and a out 8-10 inches wide. In my opinion well worth the sacrifice for a good product that will keep you cool and protect your dash from the sun.

If you are looking for a sunshade for your car, cough up the extra bucks and you will not be disappointed.

Great product. It fits perfectly in my 2011 Jetta Sedan. I think everyone who buys this would like it. It may not fold into the smallest thing when not in use but that's not a huge concern of mine.
