These stools function just fine but the legs have rusted significantly just below the foot ring in less than a year. Stools have been kept in an insulated garage the entire time. I own two other stools (different brands) and don't see the rusting.

For that reason I would not be comfortable recommending this product to anybody.

This is exactly what we expected. It's a great barstool for my husband to use in his garage when he's out there figuring out how to be a mad scientist.
