My wife, age 66, hated to travel due the pain she had to endure

during the ride. We purchased the "memory foam car seat @ $49.90

and much to our surprise...it worked. While riding from Pa. to N.C.

she had no pain. When she got out of the car, some returned, but during

the time she was on the seat...no pain. She has fibromyalsia, and

arthritis, and had a "lumbar lamindectomy" in 2006. So, we would

recommend trying this item....it did work for her....

We have a 2010 Subaru Forester and there's only one thing we would criticize the passenger seat sits too low and has no lumbar support. So, we decided to try this cushion. We just finished a trip across country of over 5000 miles, and we found this seat to be very comfortable and it gives us the lower back support we need on a long drive.

The foam is fine; it's excellent for smoothing out bumps in certain seats and allowing the user to slightly sink into its surface. However, if you have a problem with the lumbar support of your car seat digging into your back, this cushion will probably not help you. It adds more lumbar support material where you most likely already have a problem; you don't want to add to your discomfort. If, however, you need more lumbar support, this cushion should work well.

I have a base CRV and I think Honda is punishing people who buy the LX with a non padded seat. This thing feels fantastic, even though it looks a little cheesy. At this point in my life I care more about my ass than how my car looks. The seat looks a little better than the beads that cabbies used to use, but not a whole lot better.

Don't waste your money on this product. It works well for a few weeks, but the foam is not designed to last the way, say, a tempurpedic mattress is.

If you think you're getting tempurpedic-style foam, don't be fooled -it's cheap foam that loses its bounce and flattens out within weeks. I can also second many of the reviews here which observe that there is no practical way to attach the bottom of the product to your seat. There are two loops at the end of the seat part of the cushion, but I couldn't find anything to loop those around in the driver's seat of a Honda.

It's too much to spend for a shoddy product -stay away.
