This seat protector is exactly what I was searching for. It is made of very heavy duty materials, and looks like it is built to last. I have a very large, top-heavy dog who has a hard time keeping his balance in the car. The things I really like about this seat protector are the non-slip material and straps on the underside to keep it from slipping on the seat, and the heavy duty straps and clips that attach to the headrests.

I have been through a couple of seat protectors in the past 6 months. I have a 80 lb. German Shepard and his weight and claws just shred anything I put down for him. I have Toyota 4Runner and can fold the seat bottoms forward so the dog has enough head space to stand up easily. I also live in a very rural area where the roads are rough.

This seat protector is constructed of very heavy poly canvas and after almost a month of almost daily use is impervious to the dogs claws. It has a variety of loops and attachment points attached to it which made it a breeze to set up in my vehicle. I heartily recommend it.

I'd absolutely recommend this product. I was impressed and pleased with the quality of the car hammock. Thick material and strongly sewn seams. Materials and construction are both fine quality. It is saving the rear leather seats in my car. I travel with two dogs who I'd like to restrict to the back seat. Our boxer likes to stand lookout with her front paws on the console between the front seats. This hammock has kept her in the back when I'm driving, so I do not have to continuously push her back when I need to get a full view out the passenger side windows. I had hoped that the barrier would keep the dogs in the back when I am out of the car as well; but nooooo. They can both easily hop back and forth over the hammock at will.

I purchased several rear seat covers trying to find one that would do the job. I decided to keep this one simply because it had a non-slip bottom for leather interior. My car does not have adjustable head rests the back and this posed a problem. The instruction say that you can attach to the child seat lock, but that is not the case. I had rig the cover using rope and some imagination. Front to back the seat cover stays in place except for the center as it lacks a center attachment pieces. Side to side it slips some but generally stays put.

Overall the quality is good, but the design is lacking.

This car seat pet protector did a wonderful job of protecting the leather seats in our car from our two dogs on a long trip up the East coast. It fits a bit differently than pictured in a car, also we had to rig it because our car does not have removable head rests in the back seat. It would be nice if they left holes to allow for the seat belts to buckle.
