On the back of the package it says, in small print, "Batteries included," plural. OK, good enough.

So I get home and unpackage it NO BATTERY ACCESS PANEL!!! And no instructions on how to replace the battery(ies).

Being the curious person that I am I start looking for the battery(ies). Remove six tiny crews, split the case, and there it is an unmarked quarter sized flat cell cemented to one side of the case with two leads soldered to it. Basically inaccessible and non-replaceable.

On the other hand, if you are clever enough to take it apart and replace the battery when needed, be sure to observe just how the display is attached to the main board. In fact, it's not. There is a rubber block (apparently with conductive paths through it) on the top of the display which must be placed so it will be pressed against a row of contacts on the board. This is accomplished by pressing the display into a holder on the front half of the case and hoping it stays there when you re-assemble it. Not impossible if you are careful. Oh, by the way, splitting the case tends to peal the rubber grip covers off. They are only glued on. Find some rubber cement to reattach them.

Now, among other things, this thing is a flashlight an LED, to be sure, but any flashlight draws some current and eventually kills the battery(ies) feeding it. And this thing has no protection for the flashlight switch. A very light pressure turns the light on. Where do you keep it? In the glove box? In a pocket in the door? How do you keep the light from accidentally being turned on and unnoticed? Dead battery in no time. Throw the whole thing away and start over. (Or see battery replacement above.)

The digital pressure gauge seems pretty accurate as long as the battery lasts.

The tire depth gauge is another story. It reads 0.0 when fully retracted good. However, when it reads 12.5 (fully extended) the actual depth is 13mm. At actual 6mm it reads 5.6. At actual 2mm it reads 1.4. (all measured with an accurate caliper scale.) Don't count on it to keep you legal even if the battery isn't dead yet.

Now, as far as being able to break tempered glass auto windows it weighs in at a hefty 5.5 ounces. How hard do you suppose you would have to hit a window to break it with that. I'm not trying it on my car, but I wouldn't count on it.

The seat belt cutter seems sharp enough, but again I'm not going to practice on my seat belts.

Just to reiterate DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! Unless you are a tinkerer and like the challenge of keeping it working. I'm returning mine.

If you want a flashlight/hammer/screwdriver/seat belt slicer combination, this is your tool. If, however, you also want the promised tread depth indicator or pressure gauge, look elsewhere. The LCD in my unit isn't connected to the mainboard at all, meaning that 2 out of the 5 advertised tools are utterly useless. This could be a manufacturing oversight peculiar to my unit, but I think it's something more sinister. I'll be returning mine ASAP, and I'd encourage you to do the same if you've also had a defective unit foisted on you. This certainly tarnishes Slime's name in my mind.

The good thing about this is the way the tire pressure gauge mounts with the tire. Another product I tried wouldn't work reliably on my tires because it assumed the pins were wider than they really are. This one is designed better and makes a good seal while pressing the pin.

The flashlight is uselessly dim. I thought the light wasn't working because the batteries were dead, so I tried to replace them, but with fresh batteries it is still dim. It's just a really dim light that you can barely tell is on.

Batteries are not meant to be replaced. I took the whole thing apart and the body is actually glued together. Apparently they think that you will just throw this away when the batteries die.

Painted silver? Why? It always looks awful, especially after the silver rubs off and it's black underneath.

Power switch gets pressed accidentally and then it beeps at you constantly and you can't figure out where the beep is coming from.

I purchased this product at Walmart for only $7. The pressure gauge seals well and the LCD display works perfectly and is accurate both for tire pressure and tire depth. The LED light is bright enough so you could see in the dark during an emergency. I have not used the seat belt cutter or the glass shattering function yet, and hopefully never have to!

Get a cheapo 3/4" to 13/16" crowbar adapter if you need to keep your proprietary crowbar. If not, just buy a new crowbar becauseand this is no big deal, the usual 1/2" thread to 3/4" grab is not present here for the sake of a bigger acorn shape to the nut. I love these so much, it really does not present a major obstacle.

Gorilla actually sells a great adapter too. They're not jacking you either. It's just the way things are in life. I will browse and buy again and again from these guys. Their selection and prices are terrific.

I've had this about a month now and it's very nice. I'm a school teacher and I'll be using it primarily at my desk at school. I like the combination of the massage with the heat and the magnets. I know for about twice the price you can get something with roller massage but this works fine and is well worth the price. The motors seem very strong and hopefully they will hold up well. I was ill and lost about a third of my body weight in less than a year. By the time I got down to 105#, I no longer had any cushioning left on my butt. Not a problem, unless I wanted to sit down on anything less padded than an easy chair.

Driving became impossible, especially in our two Toyotas with minimal seat padding. I tried an inflatable "donut" and various pillows but they all had significant drawbacks, or just didn't work.

My wife finally found this item on Amazon in June (for 28). Now I can drive for hours without a problem which I recently did on a 1,500 mile family vacation. It's programmable enough to offer a variety of vibration combinations, offers a decent butt and/or back rub, and has a built in heater as a bonus.

The only odd thing I've noticed is that if you forget and leave it on, you're going to start getting irritated and wonder why the road is so rough. Once you figure things out and turn it off, it's a relief! (i.e., it stops being enjoyable after 20 minutes or so.)

If you're gonna whine that this isn't as fancy as an overpriced model from Brookstone, or as wonderful as a visit to a masseuse, then don't bother buying it. But if you're looking for an inexpensive solution to a hard chair or driver's seat, this is the ticket.

As other reviews stated, this seat cushion is noisy. But it isn't unbearably noisy. There is a LOT of vibration even on the lowest setting not so good if used indoors as it will vibrate the floor. The controller is extraordinarily cheap. My controller was "broken" upon arrival. The "Thighs" option was permanently stuck on even in the "Off" position. There is a sticker on the back that covers up one of the screws that says "Q.C. Passed". In my book, quality control means you actually test it to see if it actually passes, not slap on a sticker. Anyway, since I know enough about circuit boards to do basic repairs, I disconnected the power, found a Philips screwdriver and opened it up. The soldering job was poorly done such that the "Thighs" switch was shorted out by solder. I cleaned up the mess with my fingernail, closed it back up, powered it up, and it now works great. Just a tip in case anyone else encounters a similar problem.

I'm roughly 6 foot. This is clearly designed for a shorter person who is closer to 5 foot.

There seem to be about two "modes" for the motors depending on your body position. One is a constant vibration and the other is a pulsing sensation. This is probably by accident but a cool "feature" anyway.

The heat feature slows down the massage motors. But I bought this solely for the vibration capabilities.

I have yet to try this massager in my vehicle. Vehicles are notorious for supplying less power than rated, so I suspect "Low" may actually be a more mild massage. The AC power "Low" on massage only is kicking out serious vibrarararararararation.

Overall, I would have to rate the controller as "Shoddy 'Made In China' construction" but everything else seems to be reasonably built and the result is quite relaxing. Plus it complements my Homedics Shiatsu massager sometimes I need vibration, sometimes a deep kneading massage.

Bought this for a 2003 Mini Cooper because, well, I'm a princess. I love them! I get so many compliments on them! I've had them for a few months now and they're still holding up nicely. None of the rhinestones have fallen off and they're very easy to clean! They stay put and I don't have to fuss with them at all! I would buy them again in a heartbeat, though I don't see why I'll need to!

Specifically about the fit for a Cooper in case anyone else is looking:

The front passenger mat will fit perfectly.

The driver's side mat fits but overlaps the bottom of the gas petal a little bit. I haven't had an issue with that though since we press down on the gas opposite from everyone else. It doesn't get caught or pose any sort of danger that I have experienced. It's really just the very corner that overlaps the gas petal. I suppose if it really bothers you you could trim it back or figure something else out but for me, I don't mind it.

The rear mats don't fit in if placed in the direction as pictured. Well, they fit, but you won't be able to slide your front seats back and forth. But easy fix. Turn them the other way (LxW as opposed to WxL like pictured) and stick them under the front seats. They'll still protect the floor of the rear seats but they won't get in the way of adjusting the front seats.

It was hard to find an auto sun shade that fit our car windshield, so we ordered this one and it is a very custom fit. It is rigid enough to stay in place and not too hard to roll up.....velcro strap is a nice feature to keep it rolled. I got this product delivered two days back. Fits well on 2013 corolla and easy guidelines too. But, I'm disappointed due to color mismatch. In picture, they show black color with red inside. That's not true.Everything else is fine. Quality of product is good. It doesn't get hot in sunlight. So, good to purchase if you're not concerned about color a lot. I needed car seat covers for my Honda Fit because the fabric on the original factory seats are very hard to keep clean. They act as velcro for pet hair, my hair, feathers from a down coat, crumbs, anything . . ., I researched and priced many different options including custom seat covers. I finally decided to take a chance on these. THEY WORK!!! And I must say, for the price that is pretty amazing. I have bought seat covers at Walmart before and these have a much more true fit. The fabric is nothing fancy, but pet hair and other stuff is easy to brush off. I think the instructions are a little lacking, so make sure you take out all the parts first and know what you are dealing with before you tackle too much. They were easy to slide on to install, no gymnastics necessary to get them on. Once again, my car is a 2009 Honda Fit and they fit almost perfect. I imagine if anyone is looking for a seat cover for a car with similar seat shape, they would probably work. The headrest covers do fit a little baggy, but the seat covers almost look like the original seats.

I purchased these for my brand new Honda Accord 2010 to protect the original seats from kid damage.

Installing these seat covers is a little confusing, especially since the back seat bottom cover has zippers just like the top. There are few instructions, and nothing telling you which piece is which. You're left to guess. They're complicated to install, with dozens of little clips, so expect to be climbing in and out and upside down, reaching into places you didn't know your car had. Some of the installation I had to make up on my own, and I was left with a couple of extra pieces that even the pictographic instructions didn't mention.

But they do the job for a great price, and the installation gives you a free workout!

I put these in a 2006 Toyota Corolla CE. They are somewhat thinner than the seat covers sold locally which cost about the same price, when factoring in shipping, for just 2 seat covers (front only). I wanted a full set because of my dog. These are a thin knit fabric backed with a thin layer of foam.

The front set fits just about perfectly. The headrest covers are slightly too big but I cinched them up and I think they look fine. On the side of the front seats where the levers are to tilt the seat back, the covers clear the levers but certainly don't look custom-made there. I have 2 levers on the drivers side and I had to manipulate the cover a little to clear both of them and it is obvious that it is a slip cover from that vantage point.

The back side of the front seat seat back covers is just thin knit, no foam, and in my car it leaves 3" or 4" of the lower back of the seatback unprotected and not looking so snazzy (my seatback is beige and the cover is black so it's very obvious).

The directions said that one part of the back seat cover was bigger and that would be the backrest section. I couldn't for the life of me tell any difference. I finally made the decision based on a slight difference in construction and apparently I guessed right. The seat portion has a thin "skirt" that goes all around the vertical edge of the bottom seat cushion.

The backseat bottom cover fits very nicely and the zippers happen to fall right where my seat belt buckles come up, so I just unzipped the cover slightly to accommodate the buckles. Works for me. Usually only the dog is in our back seat; if you had people in and out all the time, maybe the zippers would come further undone although they seem pretty secure. I also wonder if it would be uncomfortable to be sitting on a zipper. I think it would only affect the person in the middle which is a pretty uncomfortable position anyway. I laid a crib blanket over the backseat seat for ease of laundering and a little more protection from dog claws.

The backseat seatback cover cannot be well secured in my car but I am using it anyway for dog protection. The consumer has to cut holes where they need them, for the headrests. I haven't done that yet but when I do, the headrests will hold up the cover. It definitely does not look good (see my photos) but it will serve my intended purpose of keeping my original upholstery in good condition.

Probably the backseat covers can be secured better if you remove the seat from the car and/or undo the upholstery panels on the back of the backseat seatback but I'm not going there.

All these "seatbacks" and "backseats" and "front seatbacks"!! I hope you can figure out what I'm talking about. I'll try to get some photos posted.

I bought these seat covers to "kid-proof" my 2012 Honda CRV after reading other reviewer comments. The front seat covers were fairly easy to install, although they do not have an exact fit. They do not have an opening allowance for the arm rest you either have to cover it or squish the material above the arm rest and stretch the rest out over the seat to compensate which does not allow for the entire back of the seat to be covered and protected from kicking little feet. Also, the fabric covers the automatic seat adjustment levers, but they are still functional through the fabric. The one piece back seat cover was tricky to install with the 60/40 split bench seat. It is also difficult to find the openings for seat belts and the LATCH hooks to attach children's car seats. Fortunately, I was able to make due with the opening provided and did not have to put any extra holes or cuts in the fabric. The head rest covers in the front fit fine, but the ones for the back are a little large. I have not tried washing these seat covers yet so I am not sure how they will hold up in the washer. So, in summary:

PROS: very economical, will save seat surfaces from crumbs and daily wear & tear, fabric does not stick to thighs even in hot and humid conditions, overall fit is not perfect but acceptable, installation can be accomplished by one person with some patience.

CONS: front seat covers slide over the original leather seats under heavier driver weight getting in and out of the car, the fabric snags easily, cheap looking & feeling (definitely won't impress any dates!), hard to find holes for seat belt/LATCH attachments in the back seat cover, will have to remove the entire back cover to utilize the 60/40 split for cargo even though it has 2 zippers to try and accommodate this.

They are fine for the price and generally serve their immediate purpose, but I will be looking for a higher quality cover when it comes time to replace these.

I bought this product and let it sit on my detail shelf for a few months because I am a new father. The plan was to get the interior totally revamped and cleaned prior to her riding in it but things get complicated with newborns.

The car she rides in is a midlife luxury vehicle with excellent maintenance and low miles. The years have taken their toll on the leather though, so this product enters with a cape and an aura of redemption to transform my plasticy leather back into the supple texture it was born with. After a few applications, I realized that my leather is just drinking it up and getting better the more I add. I am afraid the years of cheap interior conditioner/cleaner combos have done nothing to protect it so it is impressive that Leather Afterlife can put some life back into my interior. My wife calls the back and butt cushions "buttery" now.

Definitely clean the seats prior and let them dry out completely afterwards like the instructions indicate so it is ready to absorb. Leather Afterlife soaks in very well if on the warmer side, so leave it in your garage during the day. After applying, just let it sit on leather surfaces overnight without any fans or airflow.

I am ordering more. My wife wants her boots revived and she wants the rest of the leather surfaces to be as pleasing to the touch as the seats. I couldn't be happier with the results.

I previously used Zaino Bros conditioner but their shipping price has skyrocketed. I tried Leather Honey and that stuff is horrible; goes on thick, hard to remove excess [wipe, wipe, wipe forever], leaves sticky oily film, and makes leather phony shiny like Armour All.

Upon first notice Leather Afterlife comes in the exact same bottle as Leather Honey. Boy was I suspicious. I tired LA on the front lower portion of the driver seat. LH was on the lower portion of passenger seat. Here's my take:

Not as thick as LH

A little goes a long way

Applies evenly

Dries in 2 hours

Shine buffs away easily. Does leave a shine but not Armour All like

Leather feels conditioned and smooth

Leather Honey:

Honey is a proper name; gooey thick mess

Takes 24 hrs to dry, 48 in reality

Leaves thick oily film

Leaves phoney shine

I have been using this product for years and most recently bought it on Amazon. It is simply the best leather conditioner out there!

It has kept the leather seats on my 2002 truck looking new and also has a nice smell. My wife also uses it on her Coach purses to keep them looking tip top. I have even used it on my softball glove a few years back when it started to look a little worn and dry.

Amazon shipped quickly and had the best price I could find also.

I first would like to say this item is a great addition to my already growing auto detailing arsenal. Before applying the conditioner to my leather seats, I first had to vacuum to remove excess dirt within the stitching followed by steam clean the leather. To make sure this item is properly used I first made sure I read the direction carefully. After the direction it was time to do the application process, I used a brand new leather sponge as my applicator and this conditioner. To make sure I had proper blend of this item I used a straight line form for applying, and also as suggested on the bottle I allowed 2hours curing time. I followed that step with removing excess residue from the seats with two brand new microfiber towels. One was used to remove the excess in addition the 2nd towel was used to clean and polish to give the leather a more define matte finish. Upon completion I open up set vehicle doors to allow air flow. My 8year old leather seats in my vehicle now have that show room finish I have strived for over the last couple of years. I commend the creators of this product, they did an excellent job. I like this company because I pride myself as a buyer of non-commercial or mass produce items. I state that because I believe in supporting small companies in addition I firmly believe small companies actually care about products they place their name on and so I say Bravo to all Leather Afterlife Employees. In addition after completion of my order this company took the time and type up instruction for me to get the best possible results for, their product get it, their product, please can any one name big name commercialize company who would do that for their customers. In a final manner the price point for this item is simply insane, with this kind of result I would expect to pay at least 4 times this price, but I did not. Trust when I say price has never a factor for me, I firmly believe if set item is worth it then why not.

These fit nice and tight and added a nice touch to the interior of a clean Montero. Very satisfied with the overall look and feel. Big plus that the material breathes and doesn't cause sweat on your back. Great investment.

they will cover seats but they do bunch up on you and tie down brake off easy. I got for wife car I'm going to just get her seats upholstered.

Bought these to cover the worn seats on a 2004 Grand Prix. My Daughters use the car now and the original leather seats had a couple of holes and got really cold in the winter. The covers work pretty well except they are a bit small for the bucket seats and slide out of place when people get in and out of the car. They are a little thin too but overall they are great for the money.

Bought these seat covers for my 2005 Ford Freestyle. Currently we have leather seats and my heating element for my leather went out. Instead of fixing it for the winter i popped for these 2 seat covers for $25. They fit well and took the chill off the leather seats. Good buy for an affordable price. Well made.
