unfortunately I mistakenly ordered the wrong model for my car.. no big deal.. it was my fault.. I called and ordered the right model within 24 hours.. I asked if they could help with shipping, and was promptly told no. again I can accept that.. the new model I got in.. was missing a main component of the assembly that was shown to come on the website.. a screw, 2 nuts, and a plastic secured for the laptop (obviously part of another model as it didn't match the other three fasteners). what makes this disappointing isn't hat when I explained what happened through email.. it was ignored.. overall quality is ok.. doesn't really fit my car.. ha tonnage modifications.. but customer service is Jon existent.. I'd shop elsewhere

I was easily able to mix the colors to match our leather couch. The patch given with the kit stayed in place as long as you don't touch it. Of course, on a couch it will be used, sat on, etc... and within one day the color came off the patch and the patch fell out of place. The only real use I see for this kit is if you are repairing a small, very small, section of leather that will not be touched ever. Do not use on chairs, couch, jackets, gloves, etc...because it will not hold or last at all.

The product I ordered could never fit into that...but it did. I needed a lot of the product and the one advertized look like (I counted) 18 containers. When I opened the package there were only 7 containers. I think that the product was misrepresented on Amazon which is poor marketing tactics. I could have bought the one at Kragen for $14.00 instead because with shipping and handling it came up to $14.39. At least at Kragen I would not be deceived because what I saw on the shelf is exactly what I would have gotten in the package.

On the back of the package it says, in small print, "Batteries included," plural. OK, good enough.

So I get home and unpackage it NO BATTERY ACCESS PANEL!!! And no instructions on how to replace the battery(ies).

Being the curious person that I am I start looking for the battery(ies). Remove six tiny crews, split the case, and there it is an unmarked quarter sized flat cell cemented to one side of the case with two leads soldered to it. Basically inaccessible and non-replaceable.

On the other hand, if you are clever enough to take it apart and replace the battery when needed, be sure to observe just how the display is attached to the main board. In fact, it's not. There is a rubber block (apparently with conductive paths through it) on the top of the display which must be placed so it will be pressed against a row of contacts on the board. This is accomplished by pressing the display into a holder on the front half of the case and hoping it stays there when you re-assemble it. Not impossible if you are careful. Oh, by the way, splitting the case tends to peal the rubber grip covers off. They are only glued on. Find some rubber cement to reattach them.

Now, among other things, this thing is a flashlight an LED, to be sure, but any flashlight draws some current and eventually kills the battery(ies) feeding it. And this thing has no protection for the flashlight switch. A very light pressure turns the light on. Where do you keep it? In the glove box? In a pocket in the door? How do you keep the light from accidentally being turned on and unnoticed? Dead battery in no time. Throw the whole thing away and start over. (Or see battery replacement above.)

The digital pressure gauge seems pretty accurate as long as the battery lasts.

The tire depth gauge is another story. It reads 0.0 when fully retracted good. However, when it reads 12.5 (fully extended) the actual depth is 13mm. At actual 6mm it reads 5.6. At actual 2mm it reads 1.4. (all measured with an accurate caliper scale.) Don't count on it to keep you legal even if the battery isn't dead yet.

Now, as far as being able to break tempered glass auto windows it weighs in at a hefty 5.5 ounces. How hard do you suppose you would have to hit a window to break it with that. I'm not trying it on my car, but I wouldn't count on it.

The seat belt cutter seems sharp enough, but again I'm not going to practice on my seat belts.

Just to reiterate DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! Unless you are a tinkerer and like the challenge of keeping it working. I'm returning mine.

If you want a flashlight/hammer/screwdriver/seat belt slicer combination, this is your tool. If, however, you also want the promised tread depth indicator or pressure gauge, look elsewhere. The LCD in my unit isn't connected to the mainboard at all, meaning that 2 out of the 5 advertised tools are utterly useless. This could be a manufacturing oversight peculiar to my unit, but I think it's something more sinister. I'll be returning mine ASAP, and I'd encourage you to do the same if you've also had a defective unit foisted on you. This certainly tarnishes Slime's name in my mind.

The good thing about this is the way the tire pressure gauge mounts with the tire. Another product I tried wouldn't work reliably on my tires because it assumed the pins were wider than they really are. This one is designed better and makes a good seal while pressing the pin.

The flashlight is uselessly dim. I thought the light wasn't working because the batteries were dead, so I tried to replace them, but with fresh batteries it is still dim. It's just a really dim light that you can barely tell is on.

Batteries are not meant to be replaced. I took the whole thing apart and the body is actually glued together. Apparently they think that you will just throw this away when the batteries die.

Painted silver? Why? It always looks awful, especially after the silver rubs off and it's black underneath.

Power switch gets pressed accidentally and then it beeps at you constantly and you can't figure out where the beep is coming from.

I purchased this product at Walmart for only $7. The pressure gauge seals well and the LCD display works perfectly and is accurate both for tire pressure and tire depth. The LED light is bright enough so you could see in the dark during an emergency. I have not used the seat belt cutter or the glass shattering function yet, and hopefully never have to!

I bought this item because it is a "Griffin" product! However, I was disappointed.

Pros:

-Nice design.

-Suction easy to install.

Cons:

-Shakes worst than a Crack Addict

-Degree of angles to place device are very, very limited.

-Cannot use any type of cover while using this device (and yes it hurt my soul when my BARE NAKED iPhone fell off this cradle).

My advice to Griffin: make a cradle so that at least one of your OWN iPhone covers fits inside of it (both the company and consumer would benefit from it).

This product holds the unit very solidly without a lot of vibration transferred from the vehicle. It is designed to snap your unit in without any covering, however. So if you have any kind of protective jacket on your iPhone or iPod Touch, you'll have to remove it first. That's my only complaint with this product, but it's not as if it promised it would hold it that way. It's just a bit of a pain to take the jacket off and put it back on again every time I want to use it.

It works great. The flexibility could be better but I found one position that works fine in my car. I was afraid of it coming lose and dropping my ipod and it did happen once but when I put it up again I took time to make sure it had a very solid connection and it hasn't happened again. Just check it every time before you put your ipod/iphone in it.

Nice product which I now use everyday on my drive to work. It helps keep the device in position and up in the same sight line as the road (rather than having to look down at the seat or cup holder). I wish the connectors were a bit more streamlined but good deal for the price.

Luckily I have not had to use this to break a car window and actually ended up buying the life hammer after I had purchased this because it claims that it does not work well on laminated windows which I do have in my car. Anyway, I have tested this product on glass very thick glass and it works! The blade is razor sharp and I did use it to cut something. I hope I never have to test it out in an emergency situation.

I purchased these to spiff up my car. I did expect them to be thin, which is fine because I live in the super hot deep south, They are smooth print, not a textured print, which is fine as well. They are made of a thin, foam backed, cloth front and a stretchy nylon back with a flap that fits through your seat and attaches to two elastic bands from the sides of the seat. The front of the seat is covered by the totally wrapped around elastic band. These will do well and will be guilt free to replace if and when they finally go. I also will not feel guilty about the kids spilling things on them.

I bought two of this seat cover for the front seat of my 2013 Corolla. I'm leasing so I figured any added protection is gonna be plus, and the design for this is just incredibly cute.

I was surprised when I received the seat covers I ordered bundled up in a tight roll instead of in a box or anything. I guess they were trying to prevent seams from folding (which there were anyways).

Other than some wrinkling the fit was fine. All car seats are made differently but I imagine these will fit just about all car seats (assuming it's not custom made). The fit for me was a bit loose, causing a lot wrinkling, which is very displeasing to the eye but the pattern is cute and I don't mind too much.

BE WARNED, this item does say not to use it if you have side airbags aka airbags in your seat as this cover could prevent them from expanding properly!

The seat covers are just as pictured but the material they are made of is very strange. It feels like a teflon or scotch-guard coated polyester. It's really awkward to the touch. But for this price I guess I can't be too upset.

Overall they would have gotten 5 stars; cute pattern, cover my seat, appear as pictured; but the cheap material and awkward fit are definitely a -1 star for me.

I would still recommend this product, just not if you're picky about the feel or appearance.

You get what you pay for well, maybe you get a little more than what you pay for. For under $10 I was not expecting a super solid and sturdy unit but figured even if it was a total loss, it's just a few dollars. Well, I was surprised as it is actually pretty well constructed. I am sure you get a better grip with more expensive mounts but this one is pretty good and works for us. I wish it could clamp in a little tighter on the ipad but even so, it is fairly snug. Though I do believe nailing a pot hole at 60 miles an hour would pop it right out. Normal driving has been okay.

The seat covers are very cute, but came with no directions ! They were pretty easy to install because i've installed seat covers before. But, if i hadn't i wouldn't of known what i was doing. They're also made cheap. The straps connected to them come off very easily. I ripped two off by accident and had to sew them back on. Also, they came poorly packaged. I received a plastic case for them in the package.. but they were not in it? It seems to me like i got a returned package that was never put back together right. And last... beware for pet owners! they pick up everything! i never let my pets in the car but any tiny hair that is left on my clothes stays on my covers. I keep a lint roller in the car.

But i must say besides all the kinks i love the seat covers. The angel wings are eye catching and i am happy i bought them!
