Discount Seat Cover Connection Butterflies and Flowers print 2 Low Back
I found several black seat covers with butterflies that had great patterns and materials, but I wanted tan and these are the only ones I found that will fit my seats and were tan with butterflies. I don't like the pattern as much as some others, and I don't like that it's only printed on but I think I can remedy that with some iron on patches and appliques. I haven't tried them on the seats yet because I haven't finished working on them.

I love the colors and designs. I am not very impressed with the material. It feels like the blue paper cloth shoes surgeons wear into the operating room.

Discount 11 Piece NFL Auto Interior Gift Set - Miami Dolphins - A Set of 2
I bought this for my boyfriend and I was so excited to give it to him. I tried to install it in his truck and surprise him just to find that I have to pop some of the hems for it to fit. The bucket seats wear out really quick and i had to tie them on for them to stay and the steering wheel cover no longer had the dolphins logo on it because it wore off within a few months now it is in pieces. Very poorly made.

I purchased this item for my husband as a 21st wedding anniversary gift and we had a sudden had a death in the family and had to be out of town for 2 weeks. When he finally had time to open the gift. To our surprise the produce didn't fit everything was too small. I contacted the vendor and was told that there was nothing they could do. I felt there was known understand of what I had just went through and my gift to my husband was worthless and could not be used. So being stuck with an item I can't use makes me so unhappy with my purchase. Now he has no Anniversary to remember.Sunday, October 12, 2014
Cheap Pilot SC-250 Wood Bead Cushion Seat Cover
Customer Ratings:
List Price: $18.92
Sale Price: $17.65

I've had the product for about two weeks. If not for the weak construction, I would give it five stars because it is comfortable.
The plastic cord that holds the beads together is starting to weaken. One bead has already fallen out in the narrow part that goes through the space under the headrest.
I'm sure I'd have difficulty returning it because:
1. I used super-saver-shipping and would forfeit the discount on the rest of the order and;
2. I threw away the packing material and box. I usually keep that stuff, but the product seemed so straightforward that the precaution seemed unnecessary. If you do decide to get one, don't make the same mistake.

Got this for my husband..he loves it. Very durable and the stitching is done with a polymer so it shouldn't stretch or give way.Best Deals for Pilot SC-250 Wood Bead Cushion Seat Cover
It uses a plastic string to link all the beads together. A couple of them were poking through when I set it up on the driver seat and generally poked me as I drove. I prefer to not be poked. It is not built as they were about 10 years ago.Honest reviews on Pilot SC-250 Wood Bead Cushion Seat Cover

got these because i have leather seats and hate having my skin stick to the seats. the one problem i have with them is that the strings they sent to tie them to the seat aren't long enough for me to tie them to anything and with out them tied they slide around a lot.Saturday, October 4, 2014

For DIY, the extra cost for a full assembly is well worth the money. The rear struts were so much easier to install than the front ones. Maybe I should have started by installing the rear ones in order to build on my confidence level. The ride is so much quieter and more comfortable now after the wheel alignment.

these were very easy to install as they are all in one assembly will buy a set for the replacement on the front soonBest Deals for Monroe 171293 Quick-Strut Complete Strut Assembly
Local shops wanted about $300 per strut (with labor) to do the work ($1200 total). I did the whole car myself for about $500 in parts and maybe 3-4 hours of work. (I had to by jack stands too... about $30). Well worth it. It was not difficult. 16 year old car and the ride is solid and unbouncy now. I'm hoping these struts hold up. Included instructions were minimal, but you don't need too much more. Check the internet for videos and walk-thrus. Top bolt patterns can only go in one way, so try to get that orientation corrected on the new part before you put the strut up into the wheel well to install it. (Compare it to the removed part and some of the "Front" markings on the top mount.)Honest reviews on Monroe 171293 Quick-Strut Complete Strut Assembly
I bought a set of 4 for my daughter's 1997 Maxima which had 95k miles. That is not a lot of miles for strutes, but the back shock was leaking and would bang when you hit a PA pothole. I watched a few youtube videos and was able to change the 2 back struts in under 60 minutes. The front struts were also very easy, EXCEPT to reattach the spring clip that holds the brake line to the strut. There is no way to apply any leverage and it took me almost 30 minutes for each little spring clip. Total time for the front was about 2 hours due to the spring clip problems. Use a long pipe (about 2-3 feet) on your sockets to brake the bolts free. Let some WD-40 soak the dirt away for a few minutes. I measured the height of the wheel arch before and after and the results were definitely higher. The back was raised by 1/4" and the front was raised by a full 1". The car is looking a little funny, but I am hoping it sinks a little over time. It has been 2 weeks since installed and the ride height is the same. The ride quality is like night and day, almost like riding in my Lexus (almost wink wink). My daughter took it for a ride and was waiting for a bad section of the road to see how the new struts improved the ride quality, when she realized she was already past it. She did not even notice the bumps. I highly recommend this upgrade if you have an older car with weak struts. It is like a new car. Installation is very easy (youtube is your friend) and the total cost was about $500 for entire car. Good luck with your project.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Monroe 171293 Quick-Strut Complete Strut Assembly
I installed this great product on a 1997 Nissan Maxima. Customer support at Monroe is awesome, as one of the studs on the top mount broke, and I had to get a replacement. Be confident and buy this well engineered and quality product from Monroe -they will serve you well. Rememeber the torque setting for the rear strut's upper mount is approximately half that of the front strut. For a 1997 Nissan maxima, the Front strut's top mount torque specification is 35FT_LB, and for the rear it is only 18FT_LB. It is very important that you check the service manual of your car for proper torque setting than to use the once I listed here. The ride quality is almost as good as the OEM quality. But the springs are a tiny bit more stiff (slightly thicker coils) than the OEM, causing slight roughness relative to the original equipment. But I am sure, the springs will settle under load and match OEM ride quality in a few months. Now some installation instructions: When doing the rear struts, remove the trunk capet and liner walls (grey capeted cardboard that lines the trunk) by pulling out the plastic screws that secure the liner to the metal frame of the car. I used a pair of needle nose pliers get behind the head of the plastic screw and squeeze it gently, while using a prying action. Jack-up your vehicle one side at at time and use jack stands to support the vehicle safely. Remove the lower mount bolt by using an impact wrentch or a breaker bar attached to a 17mm socket. Pre-spray penetrating oil repeatedly over a period of hours if the bolt refuses to come out. Remove the two top screws. Do not remove the top center bolt of the strut, unless you have a spring compressor -the spring is under great tensior and couls serioulsy injure you. Also, with this complete quick strut assembly, you have no reason to remove the center bolt from the old assembly -so just don't do it. While you have the old strut removed, compare it with the new one to orient the top mount in relation to the bottom mount. Rotate the top of the new assembly to match the old assembly -it is easily done, if one person grasps the spring coil and another person rotates the top. Tip: It helps to temporarily put the nut on the stud and use a closed (circular as opposed to the open) end of crescent wrench on one of the nuts and lock the wrench on the opposite stud to rotate the mount to the disired angle. Attach the bottom mount first. Have an assistnat step on the rear brake rotor to push it down while you slide the top mount studs into the holes in the trunk. You can also line one of the studs first into the trunk hole and use a metal bar or flat blade screw driver wrapped in soft material to tap the other stud into the remaining trunk hole for fine alignment. Use a torque wrench with appropriate torque to tighten the bolt. Mount the wheels back and make sure you align the wheels. I got my wheels aligned at Sears auto center.Thursday, July 24, 2014

Discount Husky Liners Custom Fit Second Seat Floor Liner for Select Dodge

This floor liner fits perfectly in the back floorboard of our 2009 Dodge Mega Cab. I used the Husky website to find the exact fit (item #) then searched for them on Amazon with that number. It's in the item description. I'd recommend doing this, as I ordered the wrong ones the first time.
It has about a one inch high lip encircling its entire perimeter, and could contain at least a gallon of liquid, if the need arose.
On the botton, it has small spikes to hold it in place. These spikes are sharp, so be carefull when handling. They are not flexible as on other rubber "mats". This is a "liner" and is more of a rigid plastic.
Over-all it's an exceptional product by a great company still proudly making things right here at home in the USA!

Review of STI Seat Belt Cover Shoulder Pad (2 pcs)
The product feels a little cheap but it seems to hold up fine. I use it on my harness which is rather incomfotable. Looks good and all in all i like it.These are a great product. They fit perfect on regular seat belts or on a 2" harness strap. They simply Velcro over the belt and they are snug enough to stay put. They are not solid black as they look in the pictures though, they are actually a woven material that has a "carbon fiber" look. They have a good amount of padding so they are actually functional (I race with my car and I have my harness very tight). Great value!

Discount Husky WeatherBeaters 2011-2013 Hyundai Sonata Front & 2nd Seat
Overall the product and experience was great with the seller. I was a little hesitant as the item was not sold and fulfilled by Amazon, but the item arrived very quickly in the original manufactured box from the seller Discount Performance Parts. The price included shipping and handling too. I think these are just as good or better than the $200.00 WeatherTech mats since the price is about $70.00 less. They are three piece as opposed to some other versions for the 2011-2013 Hyundai Sonata, that are four piece and the center area is not protected. Just today, they saved me from a potential disastrous red kool-aid stain on the vehicle's original carpet! My daughter accidentally dropped her juice bottle spilling it on the new mats. We eventually cleaned it after we arrived home with shop towels and it came right off. I highly recommend the product and the seller. I'll try to post some pics here on Amazon of the mats.

I got these seat covers for my husband to fit his Acura TL. The covers seem a little too small & keep riding up everytime you sit down. We used the Helicoil Save-A-Thread M14x1.25 to do an "over the fender" repair of the spark plug thread on a 2003 Ford Expedition 5.4L V-8 with a blown spark plug. I thought I might have to buy a Time-Sert kit, but found the Helicoil version at a much lower price. The Helicoil worked very well, even though the plug was way at the back in a difficult spot under the fuel rail. The two step tap design was very easy to use and reamed and cut the larger threads no problem. I had read a few tips that really helped out: 1) load up the flutes in the tap with grease to catch the thread cuttings and also it allows you to see progress if you back out the tap a few times during the process, 2) start the engine up after tapping without the spark plug it appeared to blowout some very fine aluminum cuttings that weren't caught by the grease and 3) thread the insert on to the sparkplug and then thread the plug into the newly tapped hole. I wasn't concerned about setting the insert, since I figured I wasn't going to be changing the plug again for a long time, and it would be no big problem if the insert came out with the plug. The first set of plugs looked great after 115K miles so I figured I've got another 100K on the new plug. Some people also recommended manually advancing the engine to the point where both valves were closed for that cylinder and also using a vacuum to suck out any shavings, but I thought the grease worked well enough to not bother with the vacuum approach. The ignition coil for that plug had to be replaced because it got broken when the plug blew out, but beyond replacing that, the engine was running great with just a few hours work.
I used the spark-plug to thread the insert in like the instructions stated.
I was then unable to remove the plug without the insert coming back out with it, therefore I was never able to use the punch tool to expand the cleats.
Right now my engine is doing fine, however in about 30,000 miles when my plug is worn out I am not sure what will happen when I go to change the plugs again.
I don't drive the truck all that much so I figure I am now in for a head replacement in about 5 years.

After breaking off the spark plug on my motorcycle leaving only the threaded part I started researching how to fix it. After removing the head and drilling out the old threads I tried to re-tap the threads to no avail so it was on to a new thread insert. I wasn't thrilled with the idea of a "coil" fix was shocked when I found out the price for the coil kits so I was very excited when I found the Save-A-Thread kit with solid sleeve inserts. It worked like a charm. I had the hole expanded, re-threaded and the insert in place in less than 20 minutes. At half the price or less than the other "coil" kits I'd found the Save-A-Thread kit is a life saver.Best Deals for Helicoil 5334-14 Save-A-Thread Thread Repair Kit M14 x 1.25

While on vacation in the Smokey Mountains with my family our SUV blew out a sparkplug. We made it to the nearest auto parts store to buy a HeliCoil 5334-14 and some tools. After about two hours we where back on the road. I have blown out a total of three spark plugs and have used this kit to repair each one.
