The concept is great the quality is the cheapest crap I have ever seen. Not worth it, seller's policy is for buyer to pay for return cost. Would cost more to return it than what I paid for this garbage. Stay away! I'm sucking it up and shelling out $60 + shipping for the Gripdaddy v2HDR. Made from good old solid metal materials and will last.

The item arrived in a large bubble wrapped envelop all crubmbled like it had been at the bottom of a pile. The items packaging was damaged\crumbled. item looked intact.

Tried to mount it on my cars headrest and one of the clamps that are supposed to hold it in place broke off. Tried glueing it together with Gorilla glue but would not stay together. It now keeps moving and is not safe to use with any tablets.

I give a 3 d/t no instructions in packaging, only on box in small lettering. the assembly, when connected is NOT secure. with the weight of the ipad mini in this device, it holds it, but not to the satisfaction I would like as it could fall off, break ipad, hit baby in face, etc. This being said, its like a "quick release" but just pulling up on the device (clamps that hold ipad) and easily removed but NOT very secure when on the seat bracket. Overall, its a cool little device, rotates in all directions which I like. However, I have superglued this device together so it will not fall off. I have no plans or intent to move this holder in my car as it will have a primary spot when the kiddies sit. I just dont want to risk injury to my little ones / passangers, or break an 800.00 device. Overall, happy with device, shipping took a while which came from the U.K. (customer support was wonderful and very prompt). If the fastening mechanism was a little better, I would have rated this 5 stars.

I recently inherited a 1995 Chrysler, only to find that when I have the seat pulled up far enough to reach the gas pedals (as I am shorter than average) the seatbelt had a hard time buckling.

My 61-year-old father offered to find some sort of extenders for me as a gift, which he did... Unfortunately, in his confusion, he ordered the wrong type for the car! When they arrived, and I discovered that they wouldn't fit, I was afraid that my father would have to try to get a refund and then we'd need to figure out the correct size that I needed.

However, this seller went FAR out of their way to make sure that I got the correct type. They contacted me to let me know they had the size I needed, and offered to ship them to me at their cost, along with a prepaid return label for the other incorrect extenders! I was EXTREMELY impressed, as such chivalry and customer service is truly a rare thing these days. I am very pleased and thankful that everything was able to be resolved so neatly.

If I ever have another need for such a product, I will definitely shop with them again!

I had previous experience with a Covercraft sunshade on our 1997 Pontiac Grand Am. That item fit perfectly and lasted about 7 years. Unfortunately, they eventually start to break at the folds. The materials used today seem to be identical to what was used 16 years ago. So it won't surprise me that it might fail in 5-7 years. We shall see.

The fit is a little tighter on the Jeep Patriot, so it's best to use care when installing and removing from the windshield. If Covercraft could find a material that won't crack at the folds, this product would be perfect and worthy of 5 stars. If you keep your car for 10 or more years, figure that you will be buying several of these in the long run.
