After reading the other comsumers horrifying review I called the company who manufactures the ResQme keychain. I am not sure how the other consumer "tested" his/her keychains but the person I talked to said it has to be tested "on" someTHING. You can not just push the botton and have it "spring" into thin air. He recommended a notebook so the device's blade would not dull. He said you can even use this device more than once. Fire fighters and Police Officers, Rescue Personnel do use this or the Life Hammer. He said the disadvantage of the Life Hammer is that if you are submerged under water you are not able to swing the Life Hammer, where with the ResQme keychain it is spring loaded.

After a 22 year old woman just died from sliding off a highway during a Minnesota blizzard into a ice cold lake,(12-8-09) I am getting ReQme keychains for all my family members for Christmas gifts! I would rather take the chance of it not working than my family members not have it at all. I do have faith that it WILL work.

I ordered 5 of these 2 black, 2 red, 1 green. I tested the window break mechanism as suggested on a cardboard box. All of them worked except for the green one. For some reason my order was mistakenly sent twice and in the new order the green still did not work. Not sure if maybe there was a production issue with the green ones. Anyway, I returned it and ordered the pink as a replacement and it works fine. The return process was very easy.

I was a career FF in a previous life and this is perfect for breaking side window glass and cutting seat belts. I bought this for overseas travel and for the car. It is small, lightweight, and sturdy. The black "plug" for the key ring that is in front of the razor blade does take some pull to remove, but after taking if off a few times it has loosened up, but not the the point where it will fall off. It still needs a good tug.

The seat belt slides between the prongs for cutting. There is a key ring included so you can add it to your car keys.

The spring loaded plunger works too. I tested it on a piece of scrap lumber. Just press down and ...POP! The metal pin inside pops out and it left a good dent in the wood. It should have no problems breaking the side window glass in a vehicle. Be sure to place the pin in a corner near the top of the window. When the glass breaks, it won't cut you when it lands on your hand or arm. You can also use the pin on the front or rear windshield, but it won't shatter the glass like the side window, but you can put spider web cracks in the glass. This makes it easier to kick or push something through the windshield like an umbrella or windshield scraper.

The pin will work underwater too. You don't have to swing this to break the glass. Just press it against the window and keep pressing, it will pop. I hope it makes it through TSA, I don't see why it shouldn't. I plan on buying more for family as gifts.

Update 01/31/2013: Easily made it through airport security in four countries, in addition to the TSA in the USA.

It is an excellent product. The blade will cut through anything I tried it on. Also the glass breaker is incredibly strong. I was unable to set it off with my finger (which is a good thing!) I pushed it onto the ground and it actually punched a small hole into my wood floor. That scared the heck out of me because I was not aware that the glass breaker was spring action. Seeing the hole in my floor I am positive this could break glass if I ever need it to and I dont have to worry about accidentally hurting myself either.

I have looked for a car organizer that holds magazines, sunglasses, pens, DVDs, bottles, etc. and this is the one. I still have room to put things on the car seat (unlike other organizers that sit on the seat) and if I have a front seat passenger, I can just flip this around to the back without the effort of having to put a larger seat top organizer in the back seat or the trunk. Bought this for my husband who travels virtually every day for work. When he rents a car he can simply move this from one car to another without losing or forgetting anything. I looked at A LOT of car organizers before choosing this one. I like the fact that it doesn't take up seat space and hangs in the front where it's easy for the driver to access it. Plus it can be swung around behind the seat if you have a passenger.

I had it shipped to me, and when I opened it was a bit disappointed that the place for a bottle (see the photo) is a mesh pocket it wouldn't be easy to just drop a bottle or lidded cup into it. Otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.

When I received the product, I was disappointed in the fabric it is made of. It is basically plastic over cardboard. None the less, I purchased, might as well use it. It is very convenient to have in the front seat. It is difficult to place or remove bottled water from the mesh pocket, I usually perform this at a red light. It does fit a standard manila size folder in the back pocket. The handles are great, the when loaded, THIS THING IS FRAGILE! In trying to rotate it for the first time, the driver side handles began to rip. My advice, either load it lightly or be mindful to support the bottom when rotating.

This seat cover reminds me of a little girl trying on her mom's dress. This cover is ill-fitting and cheaply made. With or without the headrest on the seat of my Toyota Tacoma, it still looks baggy and cheap. After the first time that I drove with it on the seat, I noticed that the material had torn in the area where the back piece meets the seat piece. It tore a little above the seam, not at the seam. On top of this, the cheap overwhelming smell of plastic still permeates my truck. There is no way that I would recommend this cover.

These seat covers are decent for the price. I thought they were going to have a solid back to them as well, but they did not. The car smelled like them for quite a while after we put them over the seats.

Very nice product from Scotchgard. Does what it says. My daughter spilled coke on the seat and this product actually prevented the coke being absorbed in to the fabric and just enough time to wipe it away with towels. This product does prevent the spillage form being absorbed immediately into the fabric and gives you just about enough time so that you can brush the spillage off the seats or use towels to get rid of them.

The dealer will charge you about $300 for a car treatment, but it's supposed to last forever. Not sure how much faith I put into that. The Scotchguard instructions say that this should be applied every three months. I've only had my new car for a few weeks, and immediately treated it. Thankfully, there haven't been any spills in that time frame. Previous Scotchguard treatments have been positive, so I don't see why this wouldn't be.

Coverage is listed as being one can per row of the car. You must give two coats for optimum protection. I ended up using 1.5 cans for the second row and front seats, since the Honda Pilot doesn't have a bench seat up front.

The heavy chemical smell will last 2-3 days, fading slowly over that time period. So if you're a person that is highly reactive to chemical smells, you're best saving this treatment for a period when you can leave your windows open and really air the vehicle out.

UPDATE 1/10/12: Coming back from the grocery store the other night, my daughter and her friend had ice cream in the car. One of them dropped their chocolate chips onto the seat and sat on them for a while, making a bunch of nice streaks on the seat. I used some Griot's Garage 11104 Interior Cleaner 35 oz. on the seat, and a couple applications later, there was no evidence of the chocolate. Overall I'm very impressed with the product, and happy that I don't have chocolate stains on my seat!

When shopping for a new car recently I was looking for a leather or leather-like interior to resist spills and what not due to having a toddler (with another on the way). For the particular model I was looking at, it would have cost me way more than I'd like to spend just to get the seats I wanted because of automatic package upgrades for the vehicle. I looked into a more reasonably priced package (one with cloth seats) to save some cash and decided I'll just have to buy car seat covers. My uncle suggested I just get Scotchgard, and I'm thankful for his suggestion! I still ordered seat covers but they weren't scheduled to come in for some time so I got Scotchgard as a backup just in case any spills happened. And of course, spills did happen and were easy to clean up! I cleaned the spills up pretty quickly after it occurred so I couldn't say how the product performed after the liquid was sitting there, but Scotchgard allowed me enough time to grab a towel and soak it up before it began to settle into the upholstery. It worked so well that I will be looking into Scotchgarding the upholstery in my house! In a home with children, this is a must for your car (if you want to keep your sanity)!

Buy Monroe 172174 Quick-Strut Complete Strut Assembly

I put these in a 2003 Cavalier Sport Coupe with 140,000 miles on it. The whole job took me 1 1/2 hours to complete. 3 bolts/nuts on the top and 2 one the bottom. This is by far the easiest strut job I have ever completed. The Quick-Strut package is a direct replacement and provides a better ride. The best thing about this package, is that I don't have to worry about compressing the spring. Makes for a very safe task.

These fit as advertised. I spilled some water while driving today and they caught it, as advertised.

The only thing I would improve is that on the driver side there is an obvious place to put your left foot and the floor mat only half covers this. I would like to see the mat extended to cover this area so I don't scrape dirt off my shoe and get it under the mat.

Its somewhat time consuming anda pain in the ass to install on some rear seat (my seats slide back and for so there is a rack underneath) but the end result is well worth it (when installed to have a tight proper fit). The fabric is very thin but has a memory foam like feel to it. These come with a little baggy of hook/eyelet things that you can use on the cage-like supports under your seat (if you have them). the floor mats seem nice to, they are like carpet not plastic (I don't use them because I already have matching blue ones)

I would say I am 3.5 stars on this. I do not like how sharp the plastic is on the part that actually contacts the rails on my car. It is a 90 degree sharp angle that comes down on the top, flat part of your rail. Stupid design if you ask me. So I cut a bike tube open and used the rubber to protect my rail. It worked fine. Other than that, the thing holds my SUP board very nicely and I am pleased with the look. Taking it on and off though is a major headache. They put the twist nuts on the bottom of the bracket so you are barely able to leverage the nuts on when they are basically flush up against the roof of your car! Stupid again. They should have been on the top. it takes about 20-30 Minutes to put them on, and about 10 minutes to take them off. You could leave them on all the time if you use them more than once a week. But if you are a weekend boarder like me, you'll probably get tired of having them on your roof all week for nothing.

This product is just what I was looking for. I installed it vertically in the cargo bay of my Toyota 4Runner near the rear of the passenger side, and the footprint it takes up is insignificant. The sound ranges from subtle fill to barely-shakes-the-rearview. I recommend playing Björk to get the latter. This is the first subwoofer I've installed in a car, and I bought this unit paired with the Boss Audio install kit. The power was just long enough because the car battery is all the way to the front on the driver side every other cable in the kit was more than enough.

This amp gets hot very quickly and cuts out when listening to music. There is nothing else surrounding it causing for it to overheat or for heat to be trapped.

This subwoofer is relatively small and has more than adequate bass output for in-car listening. The problem is that its thermal protection kicks in after only moderate listening times and levels. This problem is especially acute in for me in New England during winter when under-seat heating vents pass air over the unit. That is, ironically I found that in the summer, when cooled air is vented, I have less of an issue. Bottom line is that this model's performance is unacceptable when one considers that by definition it will be operated in limited space, where operating temperatures will tend to rise. I replaced this unit with a conventional, but class D bass amplifier and sub with a much higher output that have no problem performing with a high ambient temperatures. I can not recommend this unit to another potential buyer. Pyle needs a Class D or integrated cooling fan.
