I really really like this car seat cover. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because I ordered two and one of the covers fit like a glove, the other was slightly bigger and fits fine but not perfectly. Even still, I am very happy with them. They look great and the material feel awesome, they are also very comfortable. I would buy these again.

I was concerned about proper fit I used these in a 2012 Dodge Ram 2500 Crew Cab 4WD short bed diesel and they fit perfectly I'll post a dimensioned image of the seat belt tab from the Ram the seat belt tab is about 1/8 inch thick -

It makes no sense and I don't encourage others to share my view, but I detest being forced to do anything (esp by the government) now, that it's my idea, I've actually started wearing my seat belt the extenders do squelch the chimes, red warning lights and menu warnings and restore normal functioning of the electronic vehicle information center, especially if you're operating the vehicle in a manner where seat belt usage is terribly inconvenient -

If your seat belt tab is 1/8 inch thick, 7/8 inch wide, with a 1/2 inch wide notch that starts about 1/4 inch from the edge these extenders should fit well -

Although this guy is over-priced, it was still cheaper than buying it from my local Kia dealer. The best part is that it made a perfect stocking stuffer for my wife for Christmas. When she tells others about the gifts she received, this hamster is always mentioned. Before purchasing I read the reviews here, noting several complaining about the frailty of the 12 volt power plug. I purchased this model in November 2011. I also purchased this model: Wagan IN9738-5 12-Volt Heated Seat Cushion for a few dollars less. Each item is installed in a different car and gets routine use here in the chilly state of Michigan. So far, we've experienced no issues with the power plugs on either of the cushions. This model ('velour' material) does feel a bit nicer to the hand, but that's the only difference other than the shape and size of the cushions.

The switch for Off-Low-High is the same for each model and works fine and seems durable. I suppose if it were to get jammed somewhere near the seat rail of the car seat, it could be damaged when sliding the seat back and forth, but that hasn't happened to us. If your car has the type of 12 volt power outlet that automatically goes off when the car is shut off, you don't have to worry about the cushion accidentally draining your battery. One of my cars is like this. In the other car, we must remember to either shut off the seat, or unplug it. Not really a big deal, and the plug seems durable enough to stand up to repeated unplug/plug-in use.

The low setting is all we've used so far, and that's been warm enough. Maybe in January and February we'll need the High setting. With these cushions, we've found we don't need to have the heater blowing on High or even Medium. On long trips, we can take off our heavy coats and be a bit more comfortable.

As for the lumbar support in this model...with the bulky clothing we wear in the cold months, I can't say I notice it. Alternatively, maybe I don't notice it because of the differences between the seats in the two cars.

Neither of our cars came with heated seats and these products are the next best thing to the factory option. I believe they are worth their current prices even if they only last one winter, but I don't foresee that being the case.

Bought it for my wife and she loves it. But there are a couple issues. First and most important is that it does not have an automatic shut off. Twice we went out the next morning and had a dead battery. The other is that our Suburban has a seat mounted seat belt and an arm rest so the back straps don't hold the cushion in place. We have solved this by using upholstery "twist pins"

This is a nice seat cushion. It is more comfortable (and fits the contours of a modern bucket seat better) than the other (Wagan IN9738-5) seat cover we have in our cars.

The lumbar support is decent but minimal. It's a soft lumbar pad slightly thicker than the padding on the rest of the cushion. It won't really help much if your seat lacks lumbar support, but it won't hurt, and is nice to have. My car has sufficient lumbar support, and the addition of this pad doesn't make it too much--just an extra, nice cushy feel in the small of my back.

As other reviews have mentioned, the bottom straps are...difficult. There will most likely be no appropriate items for you to fasten the 4 little straps (with clips on the end) to. The little elastic straps are just not long enough. An easy solution is to tie strands of cord or twine to appropriate fixation points on the bottom of your seat, and then tie or clip the pad's little straps to your cords, adjusting cord lengths as necessary. One of the cheap plastic clips broke in half (it was not abused by me) while I was installing it, but it was not needed, as I just tied the cord to the elastic strap instead. The missing star in my rating is for the cheap clips and the poorly designed straps on the bottom cushion.

By the way, if memory serves me correctly, somebody noted that only the back (or bottom?) provided heat. Their cushion must have been defective. In my unit, heat is evenly distributed throughout the back and bottom cushions.

By the way, don't be stupid like I was and plug this into your cheap multi-port 12v adapter without checking to see if the adapter's fuse is robust enough to handle the load. Fried my cheap little sub-$5 2-port adapter instantly. Just gave me an opportunity to upgrade, I guess.

I bought 4 of these for family Christmas gifts after we purchased a new car with heated seats. These work the same way and each family member has been VERY pleased with the performance. My next purchase will be 2 more for the back seat in my car. Unless you have cold feet, a heated seat can be more comfortable than having the car heating system on. And for long trips the extra lumbar support with heat is a "back-saver."

Its somewhat time consuming anda pain in the ass to install on some rear seat (my seats slide back and for so there is a rack underneath) but the end result is well worth it (when installed to have a tight proper fit). The fabric is very thin but has a memory foam like feel to it. These come with a little baggy of hook/eyelet things that you can use on the cage-like supports under your seat (if you have them). the floor mats seem nice to, they are like carpet not plastic (I don't use them because I already have matching blue ones)

Ordered this for my SUV, the seat covers do not fit properly and come with these cheap clips that just won't stay on. It took 2 people to put the steering wheel cover on and the products have a horrible odor. I've had these on for 2 days and I have to drive with the windows open. Its smells like smoke and car oil mixed together. Don't know how much of it I can take, especially since its sticking to my clothes.

That's what you need to ask yourself before buying this kit. If the damage is only to a very small area then you might be able to help yourself out with this. You get everything you need in the kit. The pots of different colored fabric...shavings??..are interesting. You also get the glue (2 of those), a small piece of canvas backing, a little mesh screen and a little plastic mixer/applicator that looks like those plastic tabs that keep men's collars from curling up on the edges.

The piece of canvas is about 3"x3" (as is the mesh) and you will probably have to use it if you are trying to repair a hole or burn. You trim it to a size just a bit smaller than the hole you are patching. Tuck it in underneath the edges. Then you are ready for the fun part.

Before you try you interior you want to practice. And practice. The fabric-to-glue ratio is very tricky. And at the end of the day you still might end up with an area that looks like you spilled a glob of glue on your car.

Which is why I say, take a look at your damage and if you are really needed a repair, go to a professional. If a small glob of glue somewhere in your car doesn't bother you (hey, at least it's not a hole) then go for it.

Just got done using the Permatex Fabric repair kit. I was driving my wifes car and flipped a cig out the window. The wind cought it and blew it back into the car. It landed behind my back. Don't ask me how, but it did. It burnt 2 spots in the upper back of the seat. Now this car is my wifes baby. It's a 1996 mercury tracer trio with only 60k miles on it. The outside looks like crap, but the inside is really nice. Well anyway, I knew she was going to be really mad at me so I told her over the phone what happened and I was right, she was really pis s ed. So I got online and found this product. I didn't have time to order it so I went to our local AutoZone and they had the exact thing for the same price as here. I got home opened the package, read the instructions, applied as directed and it worked perfect. When she got home for lunch she went to look at the damage, but to her surprise it was gone and I was out of the dog house. So for me, it was a life saver!!! It's not really that hard at all. I did the whole repair in about 15 mintues. I don't think it would work very well on a big spot though. It might, but it would take much more time and work, but for cig burns that aren't very big it's great.

The general consensus for this product is four stars and I agree. I expected a "four star repair." I knew that no matter what I did that it would not be perfect. With that said, here is the review of my product.

This kit comes with small containers filled with colored fabric fibers, fabric glue, and a mixing ball. Also present are a filter screen, cloth backing(for larger holes only), glue application stick, and color matching guide*.

***INSTRUCTIONS

Using the color guide and the end of the clean application stick(i.e. no glue), add small amounts of the colored fibers, according to the color guide, to the mixing ball container and mix. If you find that you followed the guide and the color does not look right, attempt to add additional amounts of one of the colors and re-mix. If you cannot get the color right within two or three tries, you should probably START OVER! When you are happy with the color, proceed to prepping your hole. All that really needs to be done here is to make sure the hole is flat and that no loose fibers are sticking out, use scissors or a sharp razor blade. Apply the glue with the application stick, being VERY CAREFUL TO NOT USE TOO MUCH GLUE. You need to use just enough glue to cover the hole flat. Then take your color-matched fibers and filter screen and hover above your hole. place the fibers on the screen and tap them out over the hole. No need to make it complex...just tap it out any way you can as long as it goes through the hole, but do not add too many extra fibers. Use the clean end of the applicator to press the fibers flat down against the hole. If your fabric has any kind of texture, let the glue dry for 10 minutes and come back and use the sides of the application tool to shape the glue. Let the glue dry for 12-24 hours. The procedure is slightly different for holes that will not seal up using glue alone, the fabric backing must be used as a backing.

I used this product to fix two small holes in my suede couch as well as a hole in my black car seat. All three holes are still somewhat noticeable, but what is left is MUCH BETTER than the hole that was left before. I removed the excess fibers, but I think that it would have been better to of left them to "blend" them into the couch, unglued or not. I suggest that once your happy with everything, try not to mess with it too much. It is what it is and its like that for better or worse. You just have to be confident in what you are doing and not start touching stuff up too much or you'll have yourself a mess! I have posted pictures of the holes i fixed on my couches.

I received this and it was really pretty couldn't wait to get it on my "bug". I put it on the same day as I received it then realized how cheaply made they were. I bought these (left and right) for a bolt-on replacement for the front struts on my Ford Thunderbird. I wish they had done this (complete assembly) years ago. Couldn't be simpler three top bolts and the bottom cross bolt. When you install it leave the top three bolts (actually, nuts) loose until you align and install the bottom bolt. Caveat check if your bottom bolt is rusted in you're in for a real job getting it out if it is (soak with PB Blaster). Also in the T-Bird, you have to separate the top ball joint in order to install the strut may as well replace the upper control arm while you are at it. Make sure you have an 18mm wrench (not in a lot of wrench sets) for the upper control arm bolts. Sears tools and AutoZone are good sources for that.

I bought these sheepskin seat covers for the bucket seats my classic 1973 Pontiac LeMans which I still drive fairly regularly. As you can imagine, for a car that is almost 40 years old, I've gone through at least 10 sets of sheepskin seat covers over the years, and I must say that this particular set is about the nicest ones I've purchased. I just love the feel of sheepskin, and even use a sheepskin mattress cover. The sheepskin of these covers feel especially thick, plush, and elegant.

The covers install in the usual fashion, with clips attached to elastic material at the bottom that are supposed to clip to metal parts under the seat. Living in the scorching, dry heat of AZ, this is the part of seat covers that usually wear out first. They often become brittle and cracked and lose their elasticity. The material of the elastic bands seem to be made well, so hopefully this won't happen until after many years of use.

I bought the camel color which looks identical to the color pictured. The covers did not have the small pocket on the side shown in the photos, which I was happy about because I did not need the pocket and feel the covers look better without it.

I noticed that Pep Boys sells the same product, but Amazon's price is $15 less per cover, so you can't beat the price, especially for such a high quality sheepskin.

Looks good in the pictures. ALTHOUGH it is supposed to be a generic cover (I understand it won't fit MY car perfectly) I gave it to a friend because it didn't fit my seats....and she had to give it to her sister because these didn't fit her seats either.

I would not recommend these covers if you have a Toyota vehicle.
