Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program Over the years I've had many close calls with putting objects on my dashboard and seeing them fly off when I hit a curve or came to a more sudden stop. So when I got this mat I couldn't wait to try it out and see if it works as advertised. I put it on the dashboard in my car, placed several objects of various sizes and weights, and went for a drive around town. The objects that I put were a hefty lock, my iPhone 3GS, and a small plastic figurine. I deliberately entered a couple of curves at speeds that were a bit on the high end (don't try this at home), and to my amazement not only did the items on my dashboard not move, I couldn't even see them oscillate one bit! In other words this mat works exactly as advertised.

The material that the mat is made out of is very rubbery and sticky. It is also extremely stretchy and flexible, and it conforms to almost any size or shape dashboard. If there is any accumulation of dirt or dust this can be easily wiped with a wt cloth. I only wish the mat were a bit bigger it could come in handy when I place a magazine or large format book on my dashboard.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program Simple product? Yes... but it sure does impress when in use.

You'd think it was a magnet the way it holds on to items placed on it, really sticky but with no residue on items or fingers, just sticky rubber mat.

It works, and that is saying something these days.

Note that any item placed on the mat that is round or cylindrical COULD still roll if it's heavy enough and you go around a corner hard enough. Flat items with smooth surfaces..... can't see them moving until you pick them up.

It will also stick dirt, lint etc but easy to wash off and after it's dry, back to sticky again.

Make sure you clean/dust the area you want to place the pad or it might not stick as well for you. Not sure you want to place it on a dash that has had "shiner" spray put on it, might make it slip and slide.

I've already found uses for it outside the car dash/center console. If you work with small tools or parts on a table top or smooth workbench, it will keep tools and small parts from moving around and are right where you put them.

I'm sure there are many other uses as well. Nice product.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program Before I had a chance to get this in the car and on the dashboard to check it out, my Husband decided he had to play with it first.

He has had problems with our cat sitting on top of his closed laptop, so he sat the DashGrip on top of his laptop and waited. When the cat jumped on the laptop, she landed on the sticky DashGrip, she has not been on his laptop since! Since it was then covered in cat hair, he rinsed it off, and it cleaned up EASILY.

He sat it on the coffee table and put a remote control on it and left the room, when he came back about 5 minutes later, he had to pull very hard to get the remote off of the DashGrip, yet the DashGrip peeled right up off the coffee table with ease.

He then put it on top of our TV, since it is a rear projection TV the top is sloped. He stuck the PS3 to the DashGrip and played video games for awhile. He was very impressed by how strong a hold it has!

When I finally managed to get the DashGrip away from him and put it in the car, it worked AMAZINGLY well! This has to be one of my new favorite "why hasn't anyone thought of this before" products!

Honest reviews on Heininger 1065 CommuteMate DashGrip

This item is the perfect size for its place on my dash. I mainly purchased this item so that I could place my cellphone on it while on speaker phone. I agree that this items holds everything REALLY well. I have a hard case on my cellphone. If I try to remove my cellphone from the CommuteMate DashGrip, my phone is completely stuck to the pad and I have to PEEL it off. I've had this item for about a week and it may work a little more to my liking if some dust settles on it to fight the super stickiness. All in all, if you just want a dash grip pad to put your items on and not need to remove it so often, this works.

Way too sticky for intended purpose. This item is like double sided tape!!! Will work great if you use it as double sided tape. In a one handed operation, this thing is a real problem. It comes up with the cell phone. Not recommended.

We took a long road trip w/ small kids and borrowed a 7" portable DVD player. I did NOT want to buy an actual DVD player holder for the car because they were expensive for short term use. I bought this instead and it worked great. I just sat the DVD player on it (on the back of a mini van front passenger seat). I did use a small bungee cord as well in case we hit any bumps so it wouldn't fall. It was a cheap repurpose for this product. I have not used it for its' intended purpose though. It was easy to install.

I've used this in my car for 20+ years to alleviate lower back pain. I couldn't drive comfortably without it. My first one lasted about 18 years; I replaced it a couple of years ago with a new one, and am buying another one now for my husband. It's great.

Literally does not provide any seat support. You sink right into the middle of it and all you feel are the seat underneath and the metal that goes around the outside of the cushion. I tried the sacro-ease in the store which provides great seat support, but I didn't want the back support part, but this is definitely made by an inferior company. I definitely would not recommend purchasing.

These are much better than the factory carpet especially with my kids. I have the Husky WeatherBeaters for my Camry and I really like the Husky better. The Husky are better because they are deeper. The nice thing about these are the less industrial look. My Husky liners are very industrial, but provide industrial protection.

I bought these through autoanything they arrived in one box. I was first surprised how thin the plastic was. I took the mats out and let them warm up in the house after being outside most of the day. Since the plastic was so thin I was worried about tearing or cracking it when cold and trying to fit them.

After they warmed up I started with the driver's mat. It laid in place without having to adjust the seats and it snapped right on to the factory clips. It fits nice and snug all the way around forming a nice bucket to catch the slush. Even where the clips snap in they are up-raised from the floor so water won't leak through to the carpet. I did notice there is no cutout for the fuel door release. So every fill up my wife will have to lift up the mat, or we need to cut a hole in the mat compromising the waterproof liner. I expect this from the $12.99 mats from target but for $75 for the front pair there should be a better well-thought-out option.

On to passenger side, same great fit, but instead of snapping on to the clips there is just a bump the clip get set under. The mat is still very secure to the carpet, but why build around the clip knowing its there and not use it? Troubling

The 2nd row mat I decided to get because instead of two mats, it was one long one that covered all the carpet. It was a bit more difficult to drop in place, although I didn't move the front seats at all. I was delighted to see how far under the front seats they went. The back mat fit great up to the door, but not perfect butting up to the back of the center console. I think this was because this mat was folded when shipped and the edge was warped. It not a deal breaker, and I doubt it will cause any issue but I noticed because I was two inches from it moving it into place.

Overall

Great fit in front, but the passenger side should snap in and a solution to a hidden fuel door should be made. The back covers all the carpet even over the center bump, but may be creased on an edge lip due to shipping. It looks like other flootmat makers could have these same issues, but I liked that the Husky brand doesn't come with a big, ugly, red and white badge that doesn't match the rest of the interior in the middle of the floor mat. Looking at you WeatherTech.

They fit great and look good in the car. The only thing I don't like about the mats is the one the driver's side covers the gas tank lever. Easy enough to pick up the mat, but the spines that hold the mat in place stick my hand and fingers when I reach under. Otherwise they are easy to clean and keep the mess off the carpet and I don't have to worry about my shoes being dirty.

The quality of the box is great and the price is great. The Rockford Fosgate shallow depth subs fit perfectly. The reasons for deducting two stars from a 5 star rating are 1) back seat only has 10-15% of its original function. Can barely get to the jack storage area. It would have been nice for the company (Atrend) to divulge this on their website or on the phone call that I made to tech support prior to purchase from Amazon. 2) No instructions are included. It's a sub box. Yeah, I get it. But, this box comes with a seat lift kit because of the kind of seat Ford put in the 2003 F-150 supercrew. Instructions telling you that you would need to purchase additional items (longer seat bolts) and showing you the best way to get the box under there and have all of the bolts lock down the seat with this lift kit, should have been included. Obviously, someone at Atrend had to figure out the installation process because of the box design and they included this lift kit. I would have sought out a different solution if I had known what I know now.

this box sounds pretty decent in my truck which is about the only pro to this box, it is well built for the most part so i'll give them that as well. For con's, there are a few. they only leave a LITTLE room towards the back of the box (subwoofer side towards the rear of the truck) for subwoofer clearance, as you can see in the pics there is a stepped ledge there to keep the woofers off of the floor this should have been higher, even with shallow mount subs there is very little clearance there. Next is the fact that you have to use a riser kit to make the box fit under the seats, it works ok but it angles the seats up a bit more than i'd like to have them, and makes the movement of the seats minimal. This box could have been designed that much shorter (and then some) to allow more room and not need the risers. I understand the need for more airspace in this box being a dual sub system and sealed, but making the box a bit smaller and packing the closed end with poly-fill would have had the same effect as this bigger box does. On a more technical note the speaker terminal blocks that are built into this thing are GARBAGE. I had to stuff the speaker wire up in there to get any connection where it should be a simple clamp in job. I wish i would have known this I would have replaced them prior to installation but I couldn't wait at the time so i will have to replace them a bit later.

Looked like a good box but i never installed it. As soon as it came in i had to return it because I bought a different truck.

Honest reviews on Atrend A352-10Cp B Box Series 10-Inch Dual Down-Fire Subwoofer Boxes

This item arrived in its factory packaging. There is no protective foam or any other protection for the speaker box. Due to the poor conditon of the cardboard box I carefully inspected the speaker box for any damage. I discovered the mdf was cracked from the edge of one of the speaker mounting holes toward the inside of the box. I created an exchange with Amazon and they immediately sent out a new one. The new speaker box arrived and I inspected it for any damage. I discovered the factory routed out too much material for the speaker magnet and it created a weak spot under the speaker. I also found the box was cracked at one of the speaker mounting terminal. After the second box came in damaged I requested a refund. The speaker box looks well made, but the packaging is not.

This box fits, but barely. The install was very hard and there was no instructions or videos on the Atrend website. Installing would have been alot easier if we had instructions or something to follow. Also, you'll need to buy longer bolts to use where the spacers go in the front attachments, again wish I would ahve know so I could have had them on hand rather than having to go get them in the middle of the install.

Other than that, the box sounds really good.

Bought these floor liners to protect the floor in my 2012 Ram 1500. Pleased to say that these liners fit well and were very easy to install. I've had them in truck now for about 4 months and they have defintely protected my carpet from rain, mud and snow.

About my only crticism is the fact that the rear floor liner is folded in half in order to fit into the box for shipment. You need to unfold the floor liner and let it flatten out a while before installing it, or else the liner will not fit the rear floor very well.

These are the most ill fitting, annoying seat covers ever. I would give it a zero, except that the pattern is cool. Maybe they're just not on right, but then they didn't come with ANY directions. Just the seat covers and some hooks. Oh and if you want to use your headrests, you'll need to cut holes in the top of the cover so that it will fit on, then after the first week of sitting in your car, those will stretch out and look crappy. Oh, and the zipper on one of the covers broke when I was unzipping it when I first got them (before they were put on the seat). Don't get these! Save your time, money, and frustration for something worth it!

I have a 1997 Honda CRV. My front seats have arm rests and have the detachable head rests. I have a back seat that also has the detachable head rests and it is a 60/40 split.

PROS:

-Nice material. It's not too fluffy or furry. It is soft.

-Not too thick, not too thin. I don't feel like they were overcharged. Good quality.

-Stretches nicely without tearing or getting too thin in areas.

-Velcro opening on the side so I can have the arm rest! Very NICE!!

-Steering wheel cover fits nice and snug. It does not move. Stays put.

CONS:

-The head rest covers didn't quite fit all the way from top to bottom. I had to stretch them quite a bit to get them to cover the ENTIRE head rest.

-The seat bealt strap holders were a little cheap in quality. They were just material w/velcro. I found other ones on a website that actually had padding inside the material that would rest against your chest with the velcro to keep it in place. The padding was more comfortable, thicker.

-The 2 pieces for the back bench are 2 WHOLE pieces. My back seat is a 60/40 split, so getting the cover over the part of the seat that supports your back was a bit difficult.

-The bottom piece for the back bench, the one you sit on, has no slits for the seat belt anchors to poke through, so I had to cut a slit with my pocket knife.

-The elastic straps that are supposed to get hooked together with the S-hooks they give you stretch too far and are really thin! I had to tie a knot in the elastic straps to shorten them, make then tighter, and get them to stay.

-The S-hooks are a joke. A paperclip was stronger, so I used that to hold the elastic straps.

Overall, I give this product 4 stars ****

It looks great, I get lots of compliments, and it can withstand the dog and my 6 year-old!

Honest reviews on New Premium Grade 11 Pieces Zebra Print Low Back Front Car Seat

I love love love these car seat covers! The only downside is that there weren't any instructions on the back pieces for the back seat. There weren't any holes for seat belts so I had to cut them out to make them fit on my back seats. The back seat covers tend to come off a lot and there is no real way to secure them to the seat. But they look amazing in my car!

We got this extender because the backseat of our Saturn Vue is just SLIGHTLY too small for the required seats for our 3 children and it would be impossible for my 5 year old to buckle himself into his booster without it.

HOWEVER: He has a fairly standard booster seat, and this 8" extender is too long for his seat. Obviously it's my own fault for not measuring and it still works, but I'd recommend paying close attention to how long you need your extender. I wish we'd ordered a 6" one instead. But this one still works.

ALSO: It took a few attempts to get this securely attached the first time we used it. For a moment i thought maybe they'd sent me the wrong buckle size, but i checked and it was correct so i forced in in a little harder and it finally worked. Doesn't snap in quite as easily as the regular seat belt male end does. But once you get it plugged in properly it works great! Just what we needed! Now when baby #3 is born in a few weeks i have peace of mind knowing that ALL my kids will be safe in our tiny car.

I purchased this extender for my 2012 Honda Accord, to use with my oldest's booster seat. With three car seats jammed into the back of my car, we needed something that would enable her to buckle herself without having to cram her hand between the seats. I made sure to measure the tongue of the seatbelt that I intended to use with the extender before ordering to make sure I was ordering the correct size, as the product description instructed to do. When it arrived, I immediately took it out to my car to install it, but it seems that the tongue is too short. I tried it in the other two buckles, hoping one of them would work but no such luck.

I called customer service to find out the best way to return the extender and the representative was very nice and helpful, and I was told that they didn't carry an extender for my car that would work in the middle seat. I feel that customers should be encouraged to call customer service BEFORE ordering so that they can avoid the hassle of returning and waiting for a refund.

(Edited to add: I gave 3 stars because I feel that the reviews on Amazon shoukd reflect not only the product, but its description as well. I took the necessary steps to make sure I bought the right product, as the description instructed me tondo, but that clearly wasn't enough. I was pleased with customer sevice, but I don't think this product quite meets a 5 star rating.

It seems that some car manufacturers stick to industry standards. I went to the Mazda forums and found out that Mazda makes seat belt extenders for the front seat but not the rear bucket seats. However, many people pointed out that the Rigid Type B extenders work perfectly for the back seat. I would suggest that you pay a visit to you car forums and see what people have to say. After all I'm sure your not the first person with a Honda or a Suburban that has kids. I can say that for an Rx8 this item works perfectly! Cheers!

Bought this item through Amazon which they shipped 7 Jun 2012. Today 20 Aug 2012 I phoned the Wagan Corp to let them know that their item was faulty. I went on to explain that the DC adaptor cord was faulty and the fridge would not work, they said the cords that came with the item are not coverd by their warranty. The warranty in the manual did not disqualify any thing being exempt from the warranty. Would suggest not buying from a company which does not stand behind their products as shipped.

We just used this item on a two week trip. Our purpose was to keep some medication cool and have cool water. It worked on both counts within minutes the inside is cool. Remember to unplug it at night. It apparently only took about six hours to drain an Explorer battery. (It was still cool inside in the morning.) Lesson learned. These things cool to about 40 degrees below ambient, so in an air conditioned car it worked great. During short stops (up to two hours) we left it on and even though the inside car temp got to 100F the cooler was able to maintain a good cool environment. For what it is, and for the power it draws (45 watts or so?) it does the trick. It's not a refrigerator it's a cooler and for that it saved us from having to buy ice on the trip. I'm very happy with it. If the unit had more insulation is world be less useful because it would take up two much room in the car the size was just right for our needs.

Best Deals for Wagan 2577 Personal Fridge/Warmer - 7L Capacity

This cooler works very well when you put pre-chilled items in it. It has no problem keeping cold things cold (at least in the moderate temperatures I've used in it, so far).

It works OK with things that are room temperature IF you're willing to wait long enough for it.

I used it on a trip where I put leftovers from a restaurant in the cooler and plugged it in overnight at the hotel. In the morning everything was chilled. Cooled, not icy cold, but definitely a safe temp. It was probably about 7 hours, maybe 8.

When I got it I experimented with putting 6 cans of beer at room temp. in the cooler and leaving it overnight to see how cold they would be in the morning (not that I was planning to DRINK them in the morning, I just figured that beer would be something that is actually important to serve cold, not warm).

For the first test I somehow flipped the switch from "cooler" to "warmer" and didn't notice it. I SHOULD have noticed it because when in "cooler" mode the fan is on, the fan does not run in "warmer" mode. While this test obviously failed the "can it chill room temperature beer test," I did discover a few things. One, the "warmer" mode works really well and will warm up your beer so much that it will explode out of the cans while they are still in the cooler and make a great big mess. Two, it's very easy to accidentally switch into "warmer" mode. Three, whenever it's plugged in and the fan is not on, assume it is in "warmer" mode. Four, hot beer makes a nasty breakfast drink,

For the second "can it chill room temperature beer test" I made sure that it was in "cooler" mode, which is easy to do by ensuring you can hear the fan running. The beer was colder in the morning and certainly drinkable. (Did I drink it in the morning, or did I wait until at least noon?) Was it like the icy sensation depicted in beer commercials? No, but it was way better than the aforementioned hot beer.

Because keeping beer cold is so enjoyable, I also conducted a test where the 6 cans were started at refrigerator temperature and remained nicely so after a night on the "cooler" setting.

Here are some tips to success with this cooler (from my experience, you don't need any tips to make this work well as a warmer).

Most importantly, you have to buy an AC to DC adpater like the Wagan 5 Amp AC to 12V DC Power Adapter or similar. It needs to be 5 amps or more. You can NOT use one of those little wall wart style cigarette lighter adapters. You don't need it if you're ONLY going to use it in your car (with the car running!!!). You will find your car battery completely dead and perhaps damaged from over-discharge in the morning if you try to leave it plugged into your vehicle over-night.

It does seem to help to pre-chill the cooler for 20-30 minutes before putting stuff in it. I don't think this is completely necessary if you will be putting stuff in that is already cold and leaving it powered on while in transport. If you're going to put in room temperature stuff, then I think pre-chilling is a good idea.

The cooling (and I suppose heating) element of the cooler is in the bottom of the storage area. You can easily see it in the product photos. It's the lighter colored area on the inside in the photo where you're looking down into the open cooler from above. It would probably make more sense to have the cooling element on the TOP so that the coldness would come down onto the beer, or food. That wouldn't work so well for warming, but let me remind you how gross it is to drink hot beer. Anyways, that's how it is. To improve the efficiency, I always place a napkin or plastic bag over the top of the beer, or food, to make the cooling area smaller and more isolated. I can't say for certain that this makes a difference, but it probably does help a little. It's also useful to have a napkin around, because by the time you get to finishing that sixth beer, you'll probably have spilled a little on yourself.

The manual says not to use ice in conjunction with the cooler. I don't know why not. I haven't done this yet, but I think it's a good idea. On it's own without power, it is still an insulated, "sealed" container (maybe not super good insulation, but better than a paper bag). Put a bowl of ice on the kitchen counter and a bowl of ice your refrigerator. Which melts first? Right. So using ice (or probably better to use Blue Ice or similar) should help to keep things colder in warmer outside temperatures and/or lengthen the effective cooling time of the ice or ice substitute. I don't care what the manual says here. I'm using some ice packs on my next long usage, even if that means I can only fit in 5 cans of beer at a time (actually, it does hold 9 regular cans just fine, but just in case you want to also have some food).

MAKE SURE IT'S ON "COOLER" MODE!!! If you don't, it won't work as a cooler, and may in fact actually be on "warmer" mode, which might be bad!

Lastly, don't expect miracles from this little thing. Tasking it with cooling a 6 pack from room temperature is not really fair. Liquids can absorb and retain way too much energy before you notice a real change in temperature, especially for drinking. If you can, try to pre-chill your beer in some cold water for a little while, like a stream, or cold water from the tap, or wrapped in wet towels to use evaporative cooling. Then put in the cooler.

I can think of very few instances where you would want to use this as a warmer, but in case you do, it can do it, and do it very well. I guess they include that function because it's just as easy to make it work that way once the thermoelectric system is in place. I dunno. I think it's weird (and annoyingly easy to cook your beer).

The other biggest complaint I've seen in the other reviews is the noise level. All of the noise comes from the fan. The thermoelectric cooling/heating itself is silent. There is no fan for the "warmer" mode and you would never know it's on until you start hearing your beer cans explode in the middle of the night and wonder what the heck that strange sound is and where it is coming from and why your room smells like a dive bar. The "cooler" mode needs the fan to blow the hot air away from the heat sink. Yes, you can hear it in a hotel room. Yes, it's sorta loud. Is it terribly annoyingly loud? Not really. It's white noise. Really bothering you? Put it in the closet and close the door.

I also take advantage of the air discharge from the fan to keep the AC-to-DC adapter cool. Determine where the most air is being blown out and place the little box for the adapter in the air stream. The little adapter box does get warm, especially after several hours and this helps to keep it reasonably cooled off. Also the plug where you connect the adapter to the power cord (the male/female cigarette lighter adapter pieces) gets a little warm, too, so I also place this in the fan discharge area.

The only thing that really concerns me is the hinges for the door appear a little weak, but so far so good and I'll just continue to be careful about them.

Overall, I'd recommend this product as long as you temper your expectations (get it? "temper?") and follow the tips I noted above.

Update:

FYI, the CLA power cord is just over 6 feet long. Plenty long enough to reach from the front console to the back seat area (but not the rear cargo area of an SUV).

Another update: Overall it seems pretty durable. I manage to drop it from about waist height, loaded with food, onto a hard surface. It showed no signs of damage and still works just fine. Of course, food weighs less than beer, so I can't say that the results would have been the same had it been loaded with beer. But really, if you make a habit of dropping your beer, you've got different issues.

Honest reviews on Wagan 2577 Personal Fridge/Warmer - 7L Capacity

I bought this cooler for a family road trip. Just before we left I filled it with 6 bottles of orange juice from the fridge the night before and put them inside. They were still nice and cool when we drank them. There was still plenty of room for yogurt, string cheese and apples for the kids. I love how it helps us save money and eat better by bringing our own healthy snacks from home instead of stopping for fast food when the kids get hungry. The cup holders are a nice addition too.

My wife and I had to make a 5 hour trip to a neighboring state to visit family. We had medication that needs to be kept refrigerated and at the hotel/motel we were staying at over the weekend, they did not offer a fridge in the room. So instead of getting a cooler and playing the "dump and refill the ice" game, I opted to purchase this product. As some other users have pointed out, this is a cooler, not an actual fridge. Perhaps calling the product a "personal fridge" could be misleading. The price was decent, compared to some others out there and it does keep things cool (have not yet tried the warmer). Our jeep had a cigarette lighter plugin that still pumped out power when the jeep was turned off, so in short instances where we had to stop for dinner/lunch, the cooler kept on working. One thing to note in the instructions, it does say not to leave it plugged in that way and make sure you unplug it before starting the vehicle again this little cooler does suck some battery power.

I ended up having to buy a converter to be able to plug the power into the wall socket from a cigarette lighter. DO NOT USE the converters that are used for cell phones! They do not output enough amps. I made this mistake and it melted the converter that was plugged into the wall. Wagan does sell a converter that is made this product. Since I was already in the middle of my trip, I bought a similar converter from the local W-mart and picked up a Coleman branded converter. It worked and the cooler kept the meds cool for the next 2 days without incident. For what I bought it to do, it did the job well. The only cons to this product is that the product looks and feels a little cheaply made and labels that are placed in the front of the switches, looked like it was (crookedly) placed there by a child. Other than that it is a decent product.

The headline tells it all. The OEM mat wore through at 80000 miles. The Catch It Carpet isn't quite as plush as the OEM but has a wear surface where my heel rests. It should last at least as long.

I was a bit worried about access to the hood and gas access levers but haven't had any problems in 6 months. I'd buy this again and recommend it to my friends.

I specifically ordered the mats for a 2007 Camry so that they'd really fit my car. I was very disappointed. The driver's side didn't fit well, no matter how I adjusted it it bowed out on one side, didn't fit all the way down onto the floor, which was not only weird when you put your feet on it, but also made access to the trunk release lever quite difficult. I didn't even bother to try the passenger's side, since the driver's side is more important. Since these are specific to my year make & model I expected much better. I also expected better quality, considering how much these puppies cost. I am returning them.
