I bought the same car set as this, but mine came with four floor mats as well.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003S07P2U/ref=cm_cr_thx_view

I love the color and the kind of furry feeling of the covers, but the back seat really wasn't meant for a car like mine. I drive a Dodge Neon and the back bench seat doesn't lift or fold down, so it make it kind of difficult.. Oh well. No one sits in my backseat anyway.

Also they need like an instruction manual. Mine came with like two bags of little metal hooks and I really didn't know what to do with them. And I didn't know which seat cover was on which seat part, etc... You know. And it took me a while to figure out that the top part of the front seat covers VELCRO so they go around the headrest. (blonde moments).

Love love LOVE.

I love the look of my new seat covers but the headrest covers don't fit so I had to put them in the back which I wasn't too happy about. I also have 3 should strap seat belts in my back seat and it doesn't come with velcro or a slit for them so that was a little dissapointing. But they work and hide dirt pretty well.

This product must be stretched to its limit to barely catch the edges of the armrest lid on the 2013 F250. I am not sure if this is how they designed it, or if Ford made their armrest larger. Fits, but not very well.

Got these for my mom in Florida for her red Prius. Needed to replace the ones she had that also lasted forever. These are long lasting, top quality, bright cheerful car seats.

I really really like this car seat cover. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because I ordered two and one of the covers fit like a glove, the other was slightly bigger and fits fine but not perfectly. Even still, I am very happy with them. They look great and the material feel awesome, they are also very comfortable. I would buy these again.

Just a heads up, if you are spraying your leather item outside, I would suggest using some cardboard or a tarp to prevent over-spray. As a testament to staying power, my wife sprayed a pair of shoes with this about six months ago, when it rains the water-proofed outline of her shoes shows up on our deck as the wood doesn't absorb water and change color in those places.

This is a good brand of protectant spray. It has worked beautifully and fully covered 3 high boots and I still have some left. I'm buying more and there's no better endorsement than a repeat purchase.

Worked right away and is keeping the new boots looking like new. I recommend this product for anyone purchasing this material.

Honest reviews on Scotchgard Leather Protector for Suede and Nubuck, 7-Ounce

I purchased this protectant based on other reviews which stated that it did not change the color of their suede footwear. I wanted to apply the protectant to a pair of Danner Men's RIVOT TFX 8" Military Lace Up Work Boots, but it would not be acceptable to wear the boots in my job if the protectant noticeably darkened the sage green color.

After applying two normal coats of spray (allowing 24 hours drying time after each coat), I can only detect the slightest darkening...well within the acceptable range of shades of sage green on work boots. I'm quite pleased with that aspect alone.

(Note: I also followed the can's instructions and tested for colorfastness on the Danner boots. This particular model is indeed colorfast.)

I'll update the review over time to address how well the protectant stands up to dirt.

Easy to install. Keeps car cooler and completely protects dashboard from the hot sun.

A little bulky to store, but worth the space.

When I bought my 2008 Corolla S three years ago, I continued to use the windshield sunshade I had used in my previous car (an Olds Ciera) but it never fit, was flimsy & always falling down. It was basically a big frustration! Last year it also started disintegrating and leaving a shower of little flecks of stuff all over my dashboard, seats, & floor every time I used it. I looked in stores, but was unsuccessful in finding a suitable replacement. This year I was determined to get a new one that works well. When I searched online, I found this one on Amazon. Even though it cost about 3 times what I paid for my previous sunshade, my only regret is that I didn't buy it sooner. It fits my windshield exactly, with no slipping at all. It is sturdy and easily stays in place, but it also rolls up well for storage when not in use. And, it does help keep my car noticeably cooler. I am so glad I spent the money for this purchase and I would recommend it to anyone. Since this wasn't an Amazon Prime item, it took eight days to arrive instead of two, but that included a weekend and a holiday, so not too bad.

Best Deals for Intro-Tech TT-75 Custom Fit Windshield Sunshade

I just recently purchased a used 2008 Corolla LE. I have no garage, so I need a sunshade. I purchased two different styles, neither of which extended from the dash to the top of the windshield. The accordion style that was supposedly for a Corolla was too long and fell down even when I tried to use the sun visors to hold it in place. Out of frustration I began to search the Internet for something that would fit better. I had almost given up on finding one I could afford until I came to Amazon and purchased this one. I'm very pleased with this product. It covers every square inch of the windshield without sagging or bulging and I didn't have to fight to get it in place. I hope to use it for a very long time.

Honest reviews on Intro-Tech TT-75 Custom Fit Windshield Sunshade

This sunshade really does work a whole lot better than those generic ones you find at the auto supply stores. It fits my 2004 Corolla like a glove. Very noticeable how much cooler this made my car after being parked in the sun. Two thumbs WAY up. The only reason I did not give this a full 5 stars is due to the fact that the materials seem a bit on the cheap side, to me. Other than that, it's perfect!

The Hatch Struts are well known as failing in a couple years. They cost $300 per pair from the dealer. And I found this matched pair online and paid $82 out the door. ($52.00 Free Shipping as of 11/8/2011) The way these struts designed are very difficult to remove. The two bolts at the bottom of the trunk shock are no problem. It's the ballstud-bolt at the top that takes work getting out. The screw is thread-locked in using locktite or some other screw adhesive. This means it is impossible to remove (you will strip the bolt trying so don't bother) unless you first apply some type of heat to the bolt. I read a tutorial and tried replacing it. I found out it isn't hard to do at all. I have very basic garage tools and a lighter. If I do it again (w/the easy way in video), I can probably get both sides done in 10-15 mins... of course with a friend holding the spoiler in case of falling. Anyway, it works and my wife is very happy with the result. Thanks everyone for providing different resources, it saved me lots of money.

I just installed my new set of lift supports, and wanted to add a few things:

-The lift supports themselves seem to be made of good, sturdy materials, and came with new mounting hardware. Once properly installed they work well enough. However, I did have a slight problem with the first set I was sent. The units were factory labeled left and right, but the right unit was actually another left side unit that had been mislabeled. You can tell if you place them side by side and look at the mounting plate with two holes. If they are mislabeled, the mounting plates will be the same: check for the letter stamped on the plate. Mine had an "A" stamped on both, and I knew I had two left side units. You have to have an "A" stamped on one, and a "B" stamped on the other. I notified the seller, and they practically fell over themselves to get me a brand new set ASAP, with no-charge return shipping for the first set. The second set was labeled correctly, there was a "B" stamped on the right unit this time, and I knew I was good to go.

-The new supports were a breeze to install, but getting the old ones off was WAY more trouble than it should have been. That was Toyota's responsibility, and they definitely did not do a good job of thinking ahead about replacement of worn out items. Hatch supports can't last forever, and you can't replace parts you can't get off!

-You MUST heat the swivel head bolts attached to the sides of the rear hatch, or the thread locking compound will not release. (I tried!) The lighter trick will work, but be advised you should probably plan on doing this whole process indoors. I was forced to work outside when it was windy, and the lighter flame kept blowing out! I could only put a few seconds of heat on it at a time, and quickly got frustrated. I had to cut through the bolt to separate the old lift support, because it was acting like a big heat sink. I couldn't get enough heat on the bolt itself, and I rounded one side quite a bit before it finally started to give. As a heat shield for the paint above the bolt, I just used folded aluminum foil. Protect the paint or you may end up scorching it badly while heating the stubborn bolt.

-Do NOT install these without some way of holding the hatch up while you are working! I noticed when I was tightening the lower mounting plate bolts that in order to see where they were going I had to place my head directly under the hatch, and the side of the body was directly below my throat. If the hatch had closed suddenly I could have been in a lot of trouble. You can prop the hatch open and work from outside, or I suppose if you removed the tilting package tray you could even work from the back seat. Make sure it's secure and think safety first!

-At the time I'm writing this, it's been pretty cold outside for quite a while. The rear hatch goes up, but the lift speed is definitely linked to the outside temperature. The colder it is, the slower it rises. I consider that normal, although it is annoying to wait on it at times. At least it always lifts UP now, all on its own, instead of doing nothing like the old units. They offer plenty of resistance when closing the hatch even with the cold, so I think warmer weather would show an improvement.

UPDATE January 2012: I have had these on for quite a while now, and have to say I'm more than a little disappointed with them. Warmer weather helped some, but it always seemed they had to struggle to raise the hatch, and now they are almost at the point of completely failing. They have no upward motion at all; I always have to lift it hard to get it to open. The only good thing is that it stays open once it is raised by force. I'm basically back where I started with the bad OEM struts. These new ones were cheaper, but they never performed like I hoped they would. **sigh**

fantastic! I was quoted by Toyota for replacement and installation around $300.00 I paid about $95.00 which included S&H and got them in a week. What I can tell you is they took me ten minutes to install. You should have two people. My friend didn't show so I just cut a 2X4 and held it in place with duck tape. Make sure its secure and the hatch is held all the way up. You'll need 4 tools (2000-2005 Toy Celica)110 mm ratchet with about a 3" extension. 2,3 and 4 10, 12 and 13mm open end wrenches. Take the bottom 2 screws off, unscrew the top. Replace top screw, remove pin, pop in top, replace pin, re-screw bottom....do other side. Your done. PS note of caution. These babies work great and now my hatch shoots up like a missile, so raise the hatch carefully and watch your chin.

List of tools to be used when removing & installing the lift supporters

1. A Lighter Use to melt the adhesive applied on installed screws.

It might be a good idea to use stove lighter (with long metal pipe) rather than ordinary lighter because you might have to use it for an extended time, and the ordinary lighter's plastic lever tends to melt due to constant heat for a long time.

2. 3 wrenches of the following sizes : 10", 11" and 12"

The 10" is used when removing and installing the base of the supports (Don't lose or mess up these screws, you're gonna need them!)

The 11" is used when installing the new balls on the sides of your car's door. (Be careful! I bought a set of 9 wrenches and it doesn't have the 11" one)

The 12" is used when removing the old balls of the original supports on the sides your car's door.

3. A flat-head screw driver (not necessary)

Helps you install the new supports into their sockets a bit smoother.

4. Something or someone to keep the door open while you operate.

Follow the instructions in the other posts for removing/installing method. If you're patient enough and heat the old screws properly then you won't need to cut or drill it off. If you're using open end wrenches, make sure that you keep the screws in its shape, good enough to work it all the way out. I just installed it 3 hours ago and my hands still hurt. (Ouch!)

!! Important thing to be aware of !!

If you find out that the metal plate on the base of your new support is on the wrong side, and you can't see how it will fit on your car, don't panic (I did panic) Simply screw the base metal plate in its place, and then grab the ball socket firmly with a piece of fabric or a bigger wrench, slowly spin it clockwise until the socket is facing the right directon.

BTW. Great product!

Whatever you do, DO NOT try and remove the top swivel bolt without first cutting the arm away as shown in the video. Your only chance of getting the swivel bolt out in one piece is to use a 6-sided (NOT 12) 11mm box wrench. Using a lighter to heat up the bolt to melt the thread-locker is also a must.

If you do not do it this way -like me (opps!), you will have to drill out the bolt.

It's not the end of the world, but it makes what should be a 15-20 minute repair job take about 1 hour.

Procedure for Drilling out Swivel Bolt

[1] Center punch the flat section of bolt that remains after you cut off the strut

[2] Use small 5/64" drill bit to start the hole and assure dead center, only drill about 1/8" of an inch with this bit

[3] Next move up to 5/32" drill bit, and slowly drill all the way through the bolt (about 5/8")

[4] Now move up to the final 17/64" drill bit, slowly drilling out the entire bolt to the end

If done properly, the residual bolt material will basically fall out and leave you just the threads. However, you might need needle nose pliers to pull some remaining pieces out

Lastly, have a 8 X 1.25 metric tap on hand to chase or dress the threads should it be necessary

Install new struts as per video.

Easy enough to do if you're comfortable jacking a car and changing a tire, you should be able to do this repair on your own. Most shops would charge over $1000, but you can do this job for less than half that. I replaced my front struts on my 99 Century w/ 88K miles. Previously it had been "wavy" at speed on the highway after hitting bumps. Now its smoother than it was from the factory, both on the highway and off. Before you would feel/hear a bump, but now you know you've gone over a bump, but there is little feedback to cabin. I have held out on replacing the rears but am tempted to do so. Also the preloaded struts can pay for themselves because they have all new bushings/nuts that may need to replaced in addition to the gas strut.

Have had them on the car for about 1500 miles. I can say only one thing against them

they seem to ride just a little harsh but the OEM parts they replaced were quite soft, maybe

from age. I expect the springs to soften a little with some miles.

Other than that I would say they are just about perfect to this point.

Not only would I recommend these , I already have. They were a great price with the unit

being complete. Replacing the whole unit rather than just the strut is the way to go.

The camera and monitor seem to be working great after I figured out how to wire it all up. There were no detailed instructions in either of the two little "manuals". There was a sketch but it didn't show where the power wires went for either the camera or monitor.

This system was installed in a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado, 4X4 (new body style) and the connections for the power wires need to be as follows: Red wire from camera to green wire on backup light and black wire from camera to black wire on backup light. On the monitor, the red wire is the power wire and the black wire is the ground wire.

I agree with a prior review of this product that a floor lift makes replacing these rear struts easier. I work for an automotive supplier so I was able to install these struts at our shop (w/shop tools). The whole job took around 1.5 hours (two people).

Here are some of my findings for installing these into my 2002 Explorer:

The first step is to remove the main bolt at the bottom of the shock. After that remove the three locking nuts located at the top of the strut (near top of the wheel well). The working area is tight around these 3 nuts and an air-tool will not fit in the space so you'll need to use a manual wrench (recommendation = ratchit wrench). After all four fasteners were removed (3 top nuts, 1 bottom bolt) from the strut assembly, it was noticed that there wasn't enough clearance to remove the strut. We had to remove the two tie rods and the rear-most bolts that holds the lower control arms. After those were removed, it takes just a pry bar to lower the control arm enough to remove the old strut. The new struts went in with little trouble after that. We installed all the new strut's fasteners prior to re-installing the tie rods and lower control arm bolts. The new struts came with new locking nuts for the top mounts. The bolt at the bottom of the shock will need to be reused.

I should also mention that there is a part that mounts on top of two of the three top studs of the strut that you'll need to save and re-install with the new struts. From the looks of the part, it is some kind of positive stop.

I just installed these quick struts over Memorial Day weekend at my father-in-law's service shop. I replaced the rear struts on my 2002 Ford Explorer. First off, you don't need to be an expert to replace the struts. It can be done, but it does require some extra work on an Explorer at least. Having a lift was extremely helpful as it would be harder with just floor jacks. The first strut we replaced took longer than the second. Removing the old struts does not require a special tool and you don't need to remove the springs. There are three bolts on the top portion of the strut and one at the bottom. Loosen those all the way, but in order to remove the old strut it required a little extra. First, we had to remove a bolt in the rocker arm and then we had to use a long handle crow bar to push down the rocker arm enough to pull the old strut out. Otherwise, it isn't going to come out as there is not enough room. Installing the new one, you just need to line it up and then push down the rocker arm a little bit and put the new one in. Tighten all four bolts and then put the tire back on. Also, don't forget to put the bolt back in the rocker arm. Overall, it saved me quite a bit of money as Meineke was going to charge me almost $800 and local shops quoted me over $500 but I did the whole thing for $250 with a $60 rebate coming (so under $200 by the time everything is said and done).

Overall, I would definitely purchase these again and will be doing it on my own or at least with the help of a couple friends/family in the future on any other vehicles. Always purchase the whole strut. Even if you don't want to do the install yourself, most places will reluctantly let you purchase the parts yourself and they will just charge you the labor. Just ask your local shop.

Great product, exactly as described. Took about 4 hours to install one pair on the rear of a 2002 Mercury Mountaineer. No special tools needed but a racheting wrench is recommended for the top nuts to make it go faster. Most of the time is spent on the top nuts because of the confined space. The spring is well compressed in the assembly. I actually had to move the wheel upwards to connect. It's really not as bad of a job as you'd think.

At this price I can HIGHLY recommend this product and Amazon shipping/service was first rate. I had the struts in just a few days and in perfect condition, well-packaged. Amazon had the lowest delivered price by a pretty big margin and I searched/called a lot of vendors.
