Husky Liners Custom Fit Second Seat Floor Liner for Select Review

Installed these in a 2008 Nissan Aramada. These have the same issue that the front liners have, namely Husky didn't do their homework. On the Armada the door sills are actually a little below the carpet level, so when you install these you are left with a raised edge that sticks up to catch the feet of anyone entering the truck. Add in the fact that the raised edge has these super sharped nubs (intended to keep them from sliding around) and you have the potential for some serious damage to kids feet. The Twee One has already caught her feet a couple of times getting into the truck. Seriously NOT RECOMMENDED for Armada owners. If you take a look at the stock photo real close (use the larger image) you can actually see the raised nubs sticking out.

I bought these after my brother got weather tech mats for his vehicle and they kind of slid around a little. Not these they stay put and do everything you would want them to do. I will be buying these for all my vehicles. A must have. Don't ruin your car floor mats !!!!Monday, January 5, 2015

I have never went the sub woofer route and I have always held self powered sub woofers in low regard. Over 30 years of owning a 1979 MGB there have been about 5 major car audio revisions but never a sub woofer. I do not like booming bass or listen to rap. Since the Kenwood KSC-SW11 looked like an easy fit behind the drivers seat I gave it a try.
Love it. The Kenwood BT955HD Center Unit has sub woofer out pre amps and can configure the crossovers. Front door speakers are 6 1/2 Polk MM6501, when the HPF is set to 100Hz the mids become much clearer, I set the rear deck Polk M691 HPF to 80Hz.
Major low cost improvement, bass is clean and tight and blends correctly with the other speakers, mid range no longer has that muddy sound from trying to produce bass that it can not. Who knew?

After reading dozens reviews I decided to purchase the unit as it was one of the few that would fit under the seat of my '87 Toyota MR2 replacing the clapped out stocker. I was really surprised at the sound of this compact unit. No, it won't rattle the windows of the next car over but, it POUNDS in my little car! It really more than fills in the missing bass as a result of the small speakers in the stock locations. It was easy to install and once I adjusted the head unit (Sony CDX-GT360MP) and the sub controls it was phenominal. Way more than expected. Those few negative reviews must have had faulty units or not set up correctly. Easy install. came with most the wires and connectors you'll need. small and compact. fits under driver seat. good sound with a little adjustment of head unit and settings on remote control. Only reason i didn't give 5 stars is lacks some refinement when it comes to good deep bass, but I'm spoiled having had a good Boston system before.I recommend this to anyone looking to add a little punch to an SUV, but doesn't want to give up any trunk space.

I wanted to add some low-end to my FR-S without sacrificing the already small amount of space I have in the "backseat" and trunk. This was the smallest sub I could find and I'm glad to see that after I got through installing it that it sounds great.The sub fit perfectly under the driver's seat. I can even drop the seat all the way low and it won't catch. That's awesome, since the sub is completely invisible and doesn't take up any of my usable space!
Sound-wise, it will add a noticeable amount of low-end without become obnoxious. This isn't a window rattling unit, but it does fill a void that exists with the stock stereo. It blends in well with the stock soundstage and isn't overpowering.
It's easy to get your exact settings dialed in with the remote control. I adjusted the volume on my head unit and then adjusted the frequency and volume to get the sound to really blend in. Just for fun, I bumped up the radio's subwoofer output and turned the sub all the way up. The results were a really muddy, overblown bass that just didn't sound good. When you dial it back and keep from pushing it completely, the bass is natural and really seems to fit in.
This is exactly the kind of sub that I wanted for my car. The only thing I had to buy along with this sub were some RCA cables since my head unit had pre-outs. Everything else I needed for install came included!

I bought the Kenwood KSC-SW11 to add some bottom end to my Honda Civic aftermarket audio system, without sacrificing boot space. This unit fits perfectly under the front passenger seat without intruding into rear passenger footwell, and completely out of sight. Came with most of the wiring needed, except for an RCA splitter which was needed to split the Sub-woofer out terminal from my head unit. While the subwoofer did add some low end oomph, it does not hit teh real low frequencies that you can feel my guess is that it goes as low as 40Hz, and that is it. Turned up enough, it does rattle the rear view mirrors, but distortion kicks in pretty early.Pros:

The quality on these has seemed to have went down. I had the Husky liners for my 2011 Malibu which I though were outstanding quality and fit. I ordered this set for my new 2013 Malibu and they seem way different. A lot thinnner, not as nice of fit and build quality. They are probably still a pretty good mat, but not the quality I had from the same manufacturer.
I paid around $100 for my excellent quality ones for my 2011 Malibu and paid $124 for these new ones. Price went up, quality went down. I will still keep them as they still work, just not as happy with these as I was from the old onesFit perfect in my Malibu. Highly recommend. Very durable. I will be buying these for all my cars from now on.

I am no mechanic but this was easy to install on my 2000 Ford Escort. The front struts were particularly easy but the problem with the back was that it was just a bit harder to get to. Totally thrilled with ordering automotive parts from Amazon. Never thought of it much before, but they have vendors who can sell good parts!These Monroe struts dropped right in. It is a bit easier if you have another set of eyes and hands to guide the upper studs and nuts into the body.
It was a good move to replace in pairs, since springs can sag.

I ordered this item for my daughters car and she loves it. Depending upon which seller it comes from you may receive slightly different application instructions. I had trouble applying this without a few air bubbles I could not get out so I ordered a new one from a different seller and the instructions noted that most small air bubbles will disappear by themselves as the vinyl breathes. On long rides these pads take the stress and pressure from seat belts off of your collarbone and shoulder. If loosened when attached to the Velcro, the seatbelt retracts better.These shoulder pads were not comfortable to use. They were stiff and over-priced. This floor liner fits my 2009 Dodge Mega Cab like a glove! I couldn't be happier with the product; unless it cleaned itself. It wraps around every little thing leaving very little exposed.It has about a one inch high lip encircling its entire perimeter, and could contain at least a gallon of liquid, if the need arose.
On the botton, it has small spikes to hold it in place. These spikes are sharp, so be carefull when handling. They are not flexible as on other rubber "mats". This is a "liner" and is more of a rigid plastic.
Over-all it's an exceptional product by a great company still proudly making things right here at home in the USA!

I thought this product, for the price, included a cargo liner. The description said "complete set" and "does not fit model with 3rd row seat" felt misleading. Non of the reviews mention this problem, maybe I might have missed the details. I felt WeatherTech is cheaper yet more popular choice. Call this buyer's remorse but don't really want to pay for return shipping anymore.
Nevertheless, it is a lightweight and has a good fit. The finish is a little too plastic-like but perhaps easy clean-up. Personally, a rubberized finish might feel more secure in wet conditions.
