Was going to change only the struts but the bearings in the front needed replaced and these quick struts cost the same as strut plus bearing without the need to rebuild the assemblies. This part saved me $20 per strut plus included new springs while needing 30-45 minutes less to install each.

Easy change change out only thing close to a special tool is a 24 inch breaker bar to bust the lower bolts loose.

Oh, and the ride is like new with new struts.

If you are reading this, you probably drive an S2000 and want to find a way to secure your seats. If not, this review is probably not for you.

Hello. So you are probably looking for a way to secure your seats without paying over $60. Unfortunately these bolts aren't the permanent answer for the following two reasons:

-They aren't rated for crash tests such as the OEM bolts

-These bolts cannot be torqued securely enough without the head snapping off.

I was able to snap the head right off the shank (bolt body), simply by hand-torquing the bolt in. This raised a concern for me to not use these for this purpose. (Note: The temperature outside was 40-50 degrees F but I'm not sure if the transition between ductile to brittle come into effect since I don't have material specs. On the other hand, this bolt could just be designed for light duty use and temperature does not come into play at all).

It must be noted though, that only the head snapped off from the top caused by applying more than it's rated torqued value. The head did not come off from the shear force that would be induced during a frontal car impact. Therefore, this incident wouldn't be a great scientific or engineering basis to rely on. With that said though, would you still want to take the chance during a crash? What if your family member is sitting in the passenger seat?

In order for these bolts to lock your seats in, you would need to tighten them enough to where you won't be able to remove them using a set of pliers. I was able to remove a one using a large plier without too much force. This was because I was not able to tighten them down enough without causing the head to snap off. This should raise a red flag for you. If a thief ever tries stealing your seats, all he or she would have to do is use a set of pliers to remove the bolt. With this said, why not simply use an adhesive compound such as loc-tite to semi-permanently lock the threads in place? From my experience, I would not rely on the head staying intact to the shank during an attempt to steal the seats. One could easily use the opposite end of their 3/8" ratchet and strike the head until it comes off due to it's weak composition. If the head does snap off, the seats will come loose and you will have to end up tapping the remaining bolt piece in your car. You'll have plenty of room to work with though once the seats are gone.

I have heard of other S2000 drivers use these with no problem without the heads snapping off though. Your call!

Bought and went to rotate tires for the first time 5 months later. 2 of 4 heads snapped off when attempting to unscrew them for the first time. Since there is no head, they are useless at this point. 1 month warranty does not give the product time to be used except to put them on initially.

These go right over your headrest. Easy to install and a great way to show off your college support. They are best for the smaller headrests though. If you have the larger head rests, you are going to have to do some tugging to get it to fit, and make sure yours come up like the ones in the picture or you wont have any way to fasten it and they won't stay good. The drawstring is part of what makes the custom fit, so keep that in mind when ordering...

This steering wheel cover is indeed for smaller cars. I believe the packaging indicated the wheel shouldn't be more than 14" or 15" across. It was a tight fit on mine, but it really was perfect once I got it on. It is very sturdy, and it is just really cute. Definitely overpaid here (should be $28-$35), but I had no choice as they seem to be unavailable anywhere now. I missed the opportunity to buy this in person at the Sanrio store, so I'm happy I was finally able to find it here. It almost looks as if underneath it's one of those fuzzy steering wheel covers, but there is a clear vinyl layer covering the furry parts, which makes it appear very shiny as the light reflects off the fibers inside. It's not cheaply made; it has a very thick and sturdy non-skid rubber-like coating on the inside. It's a very well made and high quality item, and fun to grip! It'll definitely make your car look girly, but it's so fun and cute looking, who cares!

After they get some age on them they get hard and the edges can roll up. They can be reshaped with a heat gun. Spend the extra money and buy better.

Don't bother searching for anything better than this product. The products work as advertised. I will add that these products will leave a somewhat shiny finish which I personally do not like for a car interior. The shine on the dash was somewhat distracting and I miss the factory new, matte look.

I bought a new car and wanted to apply a good conditioner to the leather seats right away to avoid premature aging of the seat surface. Lexol is my product of choice. It's the only conditioner I know the is easy to apply and remove and leaves no smell or greasy residue. While you apply it the smell is kinda bad but it doesn't stay, don't be afraid of ruining your new car smell, this will work well. I used to go with different brands and my wife would complain that the seats are slippery for about 7 to 10 days after application. With Lexol she couldn't even tell I had applied it already. This kit includes all you need to apply/remove and also keep it clean going forward.

It's too bad that the previous reviewer had such a negative experience. These work great for us! Maybe the clean windows on our new mini-van was a factor in successful installation?

Pros:

1) Setup was super quick. I was even able to peel and reapply in order to reposition/straighten the shade. The shades have never fallen off or started peeling at the edges, though we've only had them up maybe 4+ months.

2) Fabulous at keeping out sunlight, better than the roller shades that suction to the windows because it actually shades or dims the light rather than diffusing the brightness through tiny holes like the suction kind.

3) Since they're static clings, we can put up 2 shades side-by-side in our mini-van and not have any gaps like we had when we had 2 suction roller shades next to each other.

4) We can actually roll down the window with these on, without wrinkling the shade (or worrying about suction cups popping off. Btw, one of our suction shades won't even stick to the window anymore). But we don't really roll down those windows, anyway, so I can't speak to its durability after frequent opening/closing.

Cons:

1) Can only think of one; as it is quite effective in keeping out light, it can be a bit dark to see out of, particularly at night, (or on gray, rainy days) and with a mini-van, I need to be extra careful about checking my blindspot. (Thus, 4 stars).

** EDIT/UPDATE **

After such a great experience with the first set, we purchased another set back in January. However, they didn't seem to have as much "cling", and didn't last 12 hours before they fell right off.

As suspected, it turns out that the cold Chicago weather was the culprit! After waiting for the weather to warm up, I'm happy to report success! My husband cleaned the windows (just as a precaution), and was able to re-install the shades despite the fact that they were practically crumpled on the floor of our mini-van for a number of weeks before we rolled them up again to store for the remainder of the winter.

LESSON: Don't install these in the dead of Chicago winter! Btw, we've never had any problems with the first set, even throughout the winter (they were installed in Aug/Sept). This second set is looking pretty good so far (it's been about a month).

** Update #2 **

Sep 2007: Since installing our first set 2 years ago, our 2nd set last summer, and our 3rd set a couple months ago (with the arrival of #3), we have not touched the shades since they went up and they are still working great. Perhaps a couple tiny bubbles here and there, but haven't had to do anything! (Still don't roll down the windows). If anything changes, I'll update, but they seem to be going strong.

Even though I have tinted windows, that late afternoon and early morning sun was beaming straight into my sons eyes. These are perfect. I followed the directions, kept the other reviewers comments in mind and even though there are a few bubbles, I really don't care.

The only tiny complaint I have is that NO WHERE on AMAZON in the product description does it say you are not supposed to roll your windows down; as it states in the product instructions. However, since they are pretty inexpensive if they come off I can buy new ones or just get limo tint on my SUV.

I was so excited to try out this product. My son would always pull the roll up shades off the windows while I was driving, and they just didn't block out enough sun. These shades are pretty dark. So be extra careful when driving at night to look behind you. Before installing them on your windows make sure your car is cool inside and clean the windows really good with window cleaner. Have some patience. If your windows have any curve to them you'll have some bubbles to work out. But once they are on they stay put. I've had my shades for a few months now in my car and they have not peeled off yet. And my son doesn't pay any attention to them.

First of all I'm happy with this product.

1. film came quickly and was very easy to put on. I cleaned the windows before as I do mirrors in my bathroom to make sure all stick together

2. the film is removable but once I put it on I do not need to remove it unless eg. police man would order to do so

3. I'm from North Carolina where we cannot have on regular sedan dark tinting (illegal) so I'm using this and in case of inspection or pull over I can always take them off

4. kids do not play with them. films do stick very well and do not fall off after couple of days even in extremely high temperatures.

5. Kids are happy and as they mention it is better to have them rather in forward part of back side window while leaving gap in the back of that window as side sun does not bother them

6. I use them to protect child seats from getting too hot and also to keep sun out when kids are inside (they do not like sun too much).

7. The size is the only disadvantage I would prefer to have them a bit larger (primarily longer) and cut them myself depending on the size of window. Now I even consider buying another set just to fill in the gap see the images.

Overall great quality for that price and I'm very happy with this product!

Edit 8/11/2012 I bought another set as I needed to tint sunroof. Sun roof is a bit tinted however during summer sun still heats interior. So I used this to add another tint layer. It help to keep sun out and I can even open sunroof as the mechanism does not touch the window!. It is not perfect but the film is on the roof so no one sees my imperfectness and most important it is easy to remove if I want to sell the car.

I purchased these to protect the passenger seat from my dog's frequent use. It fits perfect and stays in place. My dog likes it. It has a soft texture to it so it is less slippery than leather and I can wash it when it gets dirty easier than cleaning the leather. I am very happy with this purchase. It is nice to have two as when washing one, I still have another to protect the leather seats. I am impressed with the value I got with this purchase.

Purchased these for my new Ford Flex. They fit in perfectly in literally two minutes. These are durable and easy to clean. When someone gets grass, dirt in the car they easily vacuum up. Does not fit the window in our 2008 Prius at all. In fact the left side of the shade is considerable taller than the right. Not sure who was in charge of quality control the day they made ours, but they must have been drunk.

It does seem to be made of quality materials, but what does that matter when it can't be used due to the incorrect size?

The shade is also far too bulky when rolled up. Not a problem if you don't ever plan on having people ride in your back seat or if you don't mind storing it in the hatch and getting it out of there whenever you park or don't mind taking it down and storing it back there when you leave.

All in all this thing gets an F from me. I honestly can't get over how poorly it fits.

I debated about whether to give this sunshade five or four stars, but since it performs the job it is supposed to do very well, I opted for five stars. It fits the window of my 2008 Prius perfectly with full coverage of the windshield and installs in about 10 seconds (there's one review that says it takes 3-4 minutes to install, I'm not sure what they're doing during that time but believe me, it shouldn't take nearly that long). It takes a little longer to remove it since you have to roll it fairly tightly for the strap to fit, I wish the strap were about one to two inches longer to make it quicker and easier to stow. The only other negative thing is that, as others have said, it is quite bulky, but it stores nicely behind the front seats if you don't have rear passengers. All in all, it does a great job of keeping the interior of the car cooler and I recommend it to Prius owners.

UPDATE May 2012: At two years old, it's a little more flexible now and still working great. My technique for removing it is to quickly (about 2 seconds) take it out of the window and lay it on the seat next to me. I roll it up while stopped at the first traffic light so I don't waste any time.

I was a little disappointed in the overall size, but after all the Prius does have a big windshield. It takes up some room to store.

It doesn't fit perfectly, but pretty darn close. The main thing is that it works. And with the heat this past summer I couldn't have lived without it.
