You get what you pay for well, maybe you get a little more than what you pay for. For under $10 I was not expecting a super solid and sturdy unit but figured even if it was a total loss, it's just a few dollars. Well, I was surprised as it is actually pretty well constructed. I am sure you get a better grip with more expensive mounts but this one is pretty good and works for us. I wish it could clamp in a little tighter on the ipad but even so, it is fairly snug. Though I do believe nailing a pot hole at 60 miles an hour would pop it right out. Normal driving has been okay.

As the product arrived, the moment I tried to install it the other one of those "claws" meant to grab the head rest bars snapped. The other one made a tight grip, so should the other one also do the same, I suppose the product would work as supposed to.

Item was as described and worked perfectly. plastic seemed a bit flimsy at first but held our vizio tablet perfectly and is strong enough to take 12 hours of being in range of a 2 year old's feet. Only thing I was concerned about was when it arrived the box was smashed because it was shipped in retail packaging and not a standard cardboard box.
