I have this in a 06 1500 silverado quad cab. The manufacturer states the box has .58 cu ft per side, my woofer of choice is the clarion wq2510 "needs .5 cut ft", and fits perfectly! Both woofers wired in parallel down to 1 ohm total. 1500watts rms powering them.
The box upon inspection is built very well, they only seal the inside edges they can reach "about half of the edges"
Nothing on the truck had to be modified to make it fit.
After complete installation and amp tuning my expectations were not met. It seams that the air space in the box is not sufficient for a large woofer with a deep excursion. I may have to change to a shallow mount woofer to take advantage of the air space.
Overall I'm am pleased with the box, I was hoping for more rumble, but instead its very punchy due to the lack of air space.
My advice, use a shallow mount from Rockford fosgate, don't try using a deep woofer even though it fits.
