What I do like:

1 The Nifty Catch-All floor mats are designed well and fit as I would expect

2 They hold an adequate amount of water/slush/etc but there is a drawback

What I don't like:

1 Lack of good anchoring to the carpeting. They slide around too easily, especially the drivers mat

2 Inadequate drainage for water/slush/etc that just dumps it onto the carpeting

I bought one of these for my explorer to warm up the back seat and it was probably the worst purchase of my life. This item does not work, it is a huge rip off. I hope this helps anyone considering this heater or should i say winter air conditioner although it does blow heat in summertime. What a joke, Im embarassed to say i spent money for this peice of junk.

Yeah i agree with the gentleman with the VW bus, I had mine for 14 years and never did it not perform well. The guy with the exploer is way off base. This is a depenable heater and works well in the winter. I would spend the extra couple of bucks and get this one.

Honest reviews on Back Seat Heat Plus 1100 BTU 12V Truck Heater

I have depended on Therm-Tech's Back Seat Heat to keep me reasonably warm during Colorado winters for close to 20 years. The original unit (purchased in 1990) shorted-out due to an exposed power-supply wire in my '68 VW Camper, but it was a no brainer to order a new (& improved!) Back Seat Heat Plus 1100.

The only other review I've seen for this product was by a gentleman who was dissatisfied with its performance in his Ford Explorer. I'm not sure what the problem is with his heating system, but I know from experience that he was WAY OFF BASE; his review should be disregarded. Keep in mind that Back Seat Heat is a SUPPLEMENTARY heater: it raises the ambient air temperature of the passenger compartment by 20-30 degrees (if it is 40 degrees outside, for example, it will heat compartment to roughly 60 degrees).

My first BackSeat Heat gave 20 years of service under harsh conditions, and I expect to enjoy many more years with the new unit. BTW: Great customer service!

THE COMPANY I ORDERED FROM IS GREAT,BUT THE COMPANY THAT MADE THE UNITED DID NOT CHECK THINGS OUT . THE UNIT WENT BAD WITHIN A COUPLE OF MONTHS. MANY OF THE REPORTS ON LINE SAID THE UNIT WAS GREAT. THE UNIT WAS MELTING THE FUSES. THIS IS REALLY BAD.

These were a great bargain and are of Bert good quality and fit. I put these in a black suburban with light tan interior and they really make the interior look nice. The coverage is really good and they leave no gaps where snow or salt can get through. Typically my kids trash the floors in my vehicles but not with these installed.

Recieved the liners for my 2001 chevy crewcab they feel light weight fit awesome and cover all the carpet i wanted to protect, they look really good and no slipping around like generic carpet mats( boy I hate that) any way I would recommed these to everyone who wants to protect theyre carpet.

I ordered these because friends of mine were taking me somewhere and they has them installed in their vehicle and said they worked well. I put them into my Smart Car and for the first 2 days they worked okay. After that, The seat belt kept creeping up tighter and I had to keep adjusting the clips and belt to loosen the pressure around my neck. Eventually, after about 2 weeks, it came apart in my hand and I couldn't get it to stay together. I am glad I didn't spend much on them and even that was too much.

it sometimes comes off the seat and i have to readjust. Not very good in the summer because they are black seats. I could not get the steering wheel cover on, but thats OK. I LOVE the logo!!! My husband kayaks before work most mornings and used to just lay a towel underneath him on our cloth seats. when driving to work the seat still got wet and he never cracked the window! I want to dispel something right quick -there was a review left about this item saying that the mats are too large for the vehicle. I own a extended-cab, and I had no trouble getting these mats to fit. All I did was follow the instructions on the Husky Liner site telling customers that they may need to trim their mats to get them to fit. After a good trimming, these things fit and look awesome.
